I think getting tattoos like that show that you care too much about how people think about you. They try to use their tattoos to make people form specific opinions about them, such as them being hardcore and really original. Guffaw.
And we can have little debates about tattoos, that can happen anywhere and both sides have their points and all that, but come on man, it’s on his face. His face.
I agree with this. It reminds me of these goth teens who celebrate Halloween 365 days a year because they want to be different from all the “sheep”. They are the ones wearing a uniform.

I don’t mind Brick - but it doesn’t take a pair of balls to criticize a pro bodybuilder on the internet.
True in a sense…Internet-Rage is ultimately retarded, but he put the crit out here, where everyone could jump on him.
He is being counter-culture, to this site, where it seems Pro BB’er can say or do nothing wrong, except Arnold, with his ribcage-expansion-science-fiction.
I don’t follow any one Pro, or Coach blindly, nobody has been the ‘perfect’ BB’er so far, as I am concerned, I like some things from this guy, and some things from that guy, even my faves ‘did wrong’ as far as I see it.
I try not to focus on what I do not like about a given Trainee, and or Coach, but what I do like.
I try to contract the differences and expand on the similarities.
Brick would like Priest more, if he did what I do.
Actually, I don’t mind Brick AND Priest, though they seem at first glance an either/or proposition.

OP reeks of jealousy. For whatever reason.
You cant insult a guy’s intelligence simply because he has a different outlook on this whole thing than you do. It’s silly.
I agree with you so far as Brick’s criticisms, were ironically unintelligent and merciless, while attempting to take-down Priests intelligence, and narrow mindedness.
I don’t see jealousy. I see strong opinions, butting heads.
It’s gonna happen, especially on the ragernet.
I wish Priest would show up and they could debate, as it stands it’s just Brick vs Priest, with Priest nowhere to be seen to defend himself.

Ah…My ignorance of e-culture rears its head…
Brick should have taken his views to Priests, ‘zone’ or whatever.
This thread looks weirder than it did before to me…
I don’t feel jealous of anyone in this world actually. I dunno why I’d be jealous of Priest anyway, considering I don’t want to be a pro bodybuilder, nor do I want to look like him.
I don’t overanalyze anyone’s or my own training either. Actually, if you follow me on this board, I’m one of the strongest opponents of overanalysis. I don’t know where you got this from.
Oh, and as for me being silly or trying to insult his intelligence. Where did I ever say that he’s unintelligent. I don’t even THINK he’s unintelligent, and consider one of the best bodybuilders to ever live and in my opinion has gotten cheated out of placings numerous times throughout the last 14 years or so.
What IS unintelligent is saying stuff like, “We’re all gonna die anyway, so you might as well do destructive things because they feel good.” Example: When I smoked an angel dust laced blunt 14 years ago, it felt great! I haven’t tried a recreational drug since, knowing that just because I could die the next day or perhaps 80 years from then, I didn’t want to lower my quality of life while I’m still alive.
man that off season video is funny shit haha i really got a kick outta that.
Priest has a facial tattoo.
That puts him in good company along with Mike Tyson and Skinheads serving life in San Quentin.
Why do you guys care so much about his facial tattoo?

The same reason they care SOOOOO much about whether some guy has his pants sagging…and the same reason they run around calling anyone not in contest shape “fat”.
I swear, quite a few of these guys have some issues with anything that doesn’t fit easily into their boxed off perception of the world.
But then, what do I know…I’m just a 280lbs dentist with tattoos and the matching ability to squat several hundred pounds while also creating a near perfect preparation within a 2mm space inside the moving living head of a human being.
Oops, I wore a tank top today. I must be THUG.

Insanely astute, cheers for spreading the “self-evident” but ultimate self-derived wisdom. More importantly for bringing home how finicky dental work can be, I swear i’ll twitch less at my next dental

LMAO.
And honestly, Brick, I think you read WAY too much into what he said. I took it as enjoy life and don’t take it too seriously - something most of the guys on this site can learn to do.

Alright, I’ll send a bald white man in Doc Martens with SKINHEAD, swastikas, and 88 tattooed on his face to your front door and get him to ask if he can use your phone. I’m sure you’ll let him in or at least bring the cordless to him so he can call the tow truck since he’s probably just a member of the British skinhead movement (which had more to do with being blue collar than racism, mind you) and appreciates German history from the years 1929-1945.
Right.

If you think Priest is devil-may-care. He has NOTHING on my bigger influences in Weight Training.
There is a place for people like Priest, and even those FAR beyond his 'get it while you can get it, ‘cause it’ll be gone before you know it’, attitude.
Priests, philosophy doesn’t match yours, that’s okay, people like him exist for reason, and people like you do so as well.
If people like Priest are that troublesome to you just avoid them.
PS: You would HATE my mysterious, Mentor/Uncle. Priest got NOTHING on my Uncle ‘Mick/Micky.’

What? Where are the swastikas? Most of you are judging people BY BASIC STEREOTYPES alone with no evidence or proof of mal-behavior. Black kids with dreds in tank tops get labeled THUGS. Guys with tats on their face all get grouped with the worst people the poster can think of as if face tattoos go hand in hand with being just like Mike Tyson or a skinhead. There are apparently only two options here as no one could ever work a a missionary and get the same tat.
Look, we get it. Some of you are literally fucking scared or rejecting of anything that you don’t readily understand. You immediately have some need to label it “BAD” in some way…because tolerance just isn’t your thing.
Everyone doesn’t think like you. I don’t go around judging the intelligence of people based on whether their pants sag…or how big they are…or how many tats they have alone…or whether they have dredlocks.
My best friends are people most here would apparently underestimate from first sight alone…and that still doesn’t erase what they or I have accomplished.
