Will Ejaculation Affect my Performance When Lifting Heavy in the Gym?

It sounds stupid, I know. I’ve been trying to research this online for about a month and keep getting varying answers from different sources.

Will ejaculation, say the morning before a workout or during the evening the day before a workout, negatively affect how I perform in the gym?

Cranking out 2 or 3 before deadlifts or squats is like a pre-exhaust set for the muscles of the pelvic floor.

I hope not because I’m a morning man. Sex before a workout relaxes me. Seriously, I’ve read up on this years ago and from what I remember it’s only a slight temporary drop in testosterone. Not enough to be concerned with. I definitely wouldn’t abstain from sex because of it.

Which raises another interesting question: if you were guaranteed 20lbs of solid muscle at the end, could you abstain from sex for a year?

Well there’s waaay too many opinions and researches regarding this.

And every gym bro has his own theory.

I go by this one:
“I go to gym to get laid more easily. Therefore I’ll even skip training to get laid.”

And if you mean on mastrubation… well do it if you feel like doing it. It might be good, it might be bad and it might not do anything at all. In any way, impact will be too small for you to notice anyways.
