What is it exactly, as in where do I put my bwt & where do I put my total in the formula, & what is a good number?
You have to have the chart to figure it. Take your bodyweight in kg (2.2 lbs=1 kg) and locate it on the chart if you have it. Multiply by the corresponding number. If you post your bw I can figure it for you if you don’t have a chart.
I don’t care what a chart or computer program tells me I want to know what goes where into the formlua.
Go to www.powerlifting-ipf.com and look in their downloads section, use these calculators to work out your formula. Then look at the worlds results and they will tell you a total points that are very good.
Damn, you don’t have to be rude…I’m just trying to help you. What goes where? Just multiply the corresponding coefficient number relative to your bodyweight in kg. by your three lift total and that is it. And again, you need the chart or go to whatever site it was that someone else suggested. As far as what’s considered good…I’m not a powerlifter so I can’t help you with that. Have a nice day.
I don’t want a calculator or a chart, I want to be able to do it myself so I can figure out how it works dammit.
Drax, Fuck you are a rude cunt!
The Wilks formula is given by
-216.047 + 16.261x - 0.0024x2 - 0.0011x3 + 0.000007x4 -0.000000013*x5
Just to clarify, I did not post that last one. I do, however, agree you’re quite rude.
Don’t call me a fuckin cunt. I asked a simple question: what exactly is it, & I got people basically ignoring that & telling me to loook it up on some chart or something like I didn’t want to really know what it was.
Please don’t be mean to our friend Drax. He smokes crack and has very limited mental capacity. It is rude to call him a dumbass. To say that he is wasting oxygen that the rest of us could be using would be rude also. He can’t help it that his parents did not have any children that lived.
