Wild Iron Gym Video Q&A

Every week we take questions from lifters, record answers on video, then post it on YouTube. Here’s this week’s video. If people want to ask questions in this thread, that’d be great. We post answers every Sunday.

There’s also a playlist that let’s you view previous Q&A.

So true with the back work, I train Back every training session, low back on deadlift day, upper back on bench and millitary press day, and really light rear delts and traps on squat day.

great to know, brauny

I have come to the conclusion that you are sir, a troll.

I laugh at the fact that some old guy who doesnt even comepete anymore because its “not my cup of tea” but trolls this forum, is talking trash to a 17 year old kid. Amazing to say the least.

Gentleman, lets not turn this into a clusterfuck of fighting. This thread can really help people out.

My question is:

What kind of exercises do you guys do for core work? Anything specific to help out your squat?

I apologize for the fighting.

Got a question for ya: what are good assistance exercises for my squat day? Ive done some hamstring work, and I do hip work, but what are some other good ones?

along the same lines but for overhead press?

Hey guys, saw your post in the training pr’s section, huge lifts and that chick is pretty beast! Gotta love that…But I have a question. I’ve been bothered for over a year now pretty much constantly with what has been diagnosed by a PT and self guessed by myself as an SI joint injury…any of y’all had that problem and what are some good techniques to alleviate some of the stiffness? I’ve read things about it etc, but any video of what to do would be much more helpful. Thanks a lot, look forward to more training vids!

So we can make this as useful for you as possible, when you miss a squat where do you miss?

We video all these and post them Sunday!

If I miss its usually an inch out of the hole.

Ill jump on the bandwagon, my bench fails off the chest any tips or assistance lifts i can do to help this?

Here’s a previous Q&A that covers ab training:

Here’s part of this week’s which covers squat questions we got.

The rest have been shot, edited, and YouTube is having a difficult time with the upload. I may have to split it into two parts and upload it tomorrow.

Wow! Thank you gentlemen… very informative and very much appreciated.

Here’s the rest. The upload finally took on the third try.

Awesome stuff guys!

This is immensely cool

Thanks. We’re taking questions for next week.

Very good info guys. Thanks
