Why Don't They Go After Hollywood

Ever wonder why CEO’s make 100’s of millions in bonuses and receive no tax penalties? Its because every time a CEO tax is introduced the republicans decide that athletes and entertainers should be included. That stops the discussion cold!

The same thing applies to steroids, people want certain people prosecuted but but want their masturbatory stud left alone.

BTW…I’m all about Christian Bale…I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s with the name “christian” I caught awful hell for it, I find it ironic the name is so popular today!

Athletes are dumber then actors and far easier to catch.
Stallone only got caught because he isn’t far IQ wise from an athlete or rapper. I mean how many big name people would be dumb enough to go through an international airport with an illegal substance.
MMM let me see… Micheal Vick, Whitney houston, and you guessed it Sylvester Stallone.

As far as athletes go they are only going after bonds because he’s cocky as hell. Otherwise he was way too difficult for them to catch. Think about it of all people in baseball he is the one person everyone in the world knows took steroids, but they can’t get him for it even now.

Btw, how about Ed Norton Jr in American History X, that was pretty obvious. Then he looked like the same skinny rail in his next movie Rounders.[/quote]

So obvious? It amazes me what some people’s standard of muscle is. Edward Norton looked great in American History X and Brad Pitt looked great in Troy but “Obviously on Steroids” ??? Perhaps i just have a more optimistic View of what can be achieved from eating and training right.

No, your view of proper diet, nutrition and exercise is not anymore optimistic than mine. However, if your standard of literacy was as optimistic as mine, you would have hoped the readers of my post understood that I was referring to a transformation rather than the more narrow minded viewpoint that I was referring to how hyooge he was. Furthermore had you broadened your cutting and pasting application to include a before and after picture of ENJr, you would see that his body obviously returned to the normal skinny state in which it has been his entire adult life; that ring any bells or set off any alarms?

It ain’t rocket science bro, if you strive to improve your reading skills you may at some point possess the ability to discuss your viewpoint in a friendly manner and without your foot in your mouth and head up your ass.

Your right, my apologies, I shouldn’t have actually quoted your post. I didn’t give it enough thought as I quickly jumped right into googling pictures and using them in this new Photoshop thingy a friend gave me, LOL. The point I really wanted to make was more so to address the whole thread. They don’t go after hollywood because no one is actually big in Hollywood. As far as what I think is obvious? I think it’s obvious Norton got a good trainer, trained hard, ate right, pumped up before every scene he showed skin and appeared bigger on screen then he really was. Then stopped working out and focused on getting new roles. because unlike someone like me who can’t live without weights he can. Now the guy Pitt fought at the beginning of Troy? He was obviously juiced to the max!!!

You speak of Nathan “Megaman” Jones. He’s 6’10" about 350. He’s the guy who had his arm broken at the 95 WSM by Magnus Samuelsson in a wrist wrestling match. More than lkely Mr. Jones is on the gas.

Go stereotypes. I’ve met some pretty fucking stupid actors, and plenty of extremely intelligent athletes. I’d say athletes are simply more obvious targets, as their livelihood revolves around their physical performance, whereas there are plenty of male actors who would never have need of steroids.

I won’t say Bale didn’t use anything, but remember that in the first movie he starved himself to look like that, so was way below baseline. After that he could eat a ho-ho and put on 30 lbs of LBM. And anybody who is willing to diet down like he did is capable of putting himself through almost anything to add that muscle. (And if he didn’t put on any fat, every ounce looked like he added a pound.)

I believe this is the first time he ever really worked out, so you have the newbie factor, the fact that he wasn’t actually working while preparing for the role, left him with diet and exercise as his full time job, and while I know there are quite a few horrible trainers (usually the popular ones) in Hollywood, there are some who really know what they are doing.

I am just throwing this out there as possibilities. Remember this article:

No sweat…bygones.

We’ll have to agree to disagree on ENJr though. I think another thing commonly overlooked and in need of consideration is that low dose cycles do actually exist, maybe not on this site, but they do exist. Not everyone does a 3:5 ratio of deca or tren to test, let alone a gram of test a week.

Telltale sign: I always go to the face…the face never lies because no matter how light of dose you use it will show in your face. Conversely, no matter how hard you train and how much protein you consume, the face of skinny guy is not going to puff up or have that “look” we all know we get when “on”.

To your point about Hollywood not having any “big” guys to target, it’s an excellent point. Even though there are a few here and there like Sly, it’s collectively not enough for Hollywood to be targeted. Hell, they pretty much take whatever drugs they want and go untouched, why would AAS be any different even if it were an epidemic? Bottom line is that LE wants the dealers anyway and they I imagine don’t hang out in Hollywood…Venice Beach maybe though

i agree with the bloated face/double chin when lean thing, but how come back in the day when arni was competing/then acting few of the guys (other than platz) had the moon face going on?come to think about it they all had hair and almost no gyno back then?? sorry to hijsack the thread…

If you’re still talking about Bale in your second paragraph, you’re wrong. Remember American Psycho? He wasn’t huge, but he was pretty fuckin’ lean. It’s obvious he takes care of himself [generally] between roles, and adjusts accordingly.

I’ve been thinkin about this one for awhile because it’s a pretty good point. The only thing I can come up with is that in most cases body builders are photographed around contest time when they’re at their leanest, and in this day and age you can check them out at any phase of their training.

However, back in the day when you didn’t have the interweb to pull up thousands of images but instead relied on you standard M&F you were limited to what photos were available. So it could be deduced that once they’re off the androgens and leaning out with hardeners, the moon face has at that point dissipated in time for the contest/photo shoot just like our modern day BB’s. Just a thought.
