Why Bodybuilding.com Sucks

Body Fat: 21%
Bench: 170 lbs

After: April 2007
Weight: 185

I’m pretty sure it’s just a typo. Come on now, 4" isn’t even possible.[/quote]

I’m pretty sure that was the joke. Come on now, even a retarded monkey on fire would have figured that out.

Brilliant! I had not thought of that! A 4" waist is not possible on that fat kid.

Thanks for pointing out why I failed to see why bodybuilding.com does in fact…not suck!

They have excellent article review and revision. They pick out the totally obvious physically impossible claims that are obvious typo’s and replace them with facts! Thanks!

This “T-Men” crap has gone too far, especially when you are trying to speak on our behalf about something that is extremely important to other people. I think a “T-Man” could show respect to someone else about their beliefs even if he thought it was silly.

BB.com is HUGE and therefore has everything T-Nation has as far as a population but magnified multiple times(and we don’t have IFBB pros here do we?). If someone was so inclined to find the percentage of clueless trainees on that site and compare it to scale with this site I don’t think their would be much difference at all.

I started out years ago with Arnold’s Encyclopedia and BB.com as my main resources. I think that the series of articles written by Big Cat provide an excellent foundation. Their on-line store is also full of mostly good stuff at pretty good discounts. However, T-Nation kicks that site’s ass all over the net. Just MHO.

I happen to be quite spiritual but I feel that the concept of organized religion is a complete crock. It is not in the least “silly” however. Sorry to offend but I agree with Nietzche that it was used as a method for the religious leaders to control the gullible masses (and take their tithes).

Further, looking back through history it seems that the institution is responsible for a great deal of death and misery. From the holy crusades to 9/11 the desire to force ones beliefs on the rest of the world is a recipe for endless hate. All religions seem to be inherently imperialistic and that can be easily understood. After all, a religion without followers is just a “nice idea”.

I DO believe that healthy, peaceful spiritualism is wonderful. The social aspects of the church also provide all manner of benefits to people of all kinds. I certainly didn’t mean to imply that T-Men are somehow above it all, but rather that we would generally tend to have a “God helps those that help themselves” attitude.

You are completely incorrect. All of the worlds most terrible attrocities have been committed by…oh yea ATHIESTS!!! You have been spoonfed historical propaganda why the anti-christian leftists in america. Need examples? Adolf Hitler was actually an athiest when he came to power (although raised catholic.) Joseph Stalin, who was responsible for slaughtering more of his own people than hitler did all together, also an athiest. And how can we forget Mao Zedong, the imfamous leader of the violent communist party of China, who slaughtered anywhere from 2 to 5 million people in a 4 year period. Organized religion is not a crock, man is a crock, and man happens to run organized religion, along with EVERYTHING ELSE.

I don’t like bodybuilding.com, for several reasons that I won’t go into. They get a lot of traffic and lots of traffic means money to them so that’s why I visit them maybe only 2 or 3 times a year, if that.

Debating the existence of God is a useless endeavour for any forum to undertake. I would, however, advise people to be careful before falling for Dawkins’ BS.

The main problem I find with BB.com is the layout. Those quotes in the original post are indicative of precisely jack shit.

For those of you that want to read Hitchens and Dawkins do yourselves a favor and read counter points or there arguements. Other wise you have a religion as well, it is called secular humanist.

Read Jesus among other Gods by Ravi Zacharias and Mere Christianity by CS Lewis. Both are written from a secualar viewpoint and do an astounding job of defending the Christian faith.

As for the people that think Christians or religious ones have a weak mind i would like to ask what your degree and profession is?

I am a Christian redeemed by the blood of Christ, youth pastor, BS in Chemical Engineering, and advanced power researcher.

I will also stand up and say that God has blessed my strength, my work, and my life in many ways. God is also an active part in my life and does guide and help me day to day.

You can add Pol Pot of the Kymer Rouge to that list. 20-30% of his own population in a 7 year period.

You’re right. That ‘joke’ was so funny I was ROFLMAO for at least five minutes. My bad.

If that is really the results of a 6 month period…congrats to him. If he gained that much muscle…I would expect him to be a bit larger in mass, though. Anyway now onto the atheist bit…who cares about what people believe? Believe whatever you want to believe and let others believe whatever they want. I believe that the guy’s beliefs did help him a bit. I know if you believe oh, so and so is going to help me…you are going to work harder. So I think he should just keep believing that because his beliefs are what keeps him going. People who are part of christianity worry about the antichrist…i have always believed the antichrist is their religion itself.

4" waist? I didn’t even catch that lol
