Whos the Guy in the V-Diet Picture?

They just changed the V-Diet picture. I think its the same guy as before just a different angle.

Any idea who he is?

He has a wicked physique in terms of definition, vascularity, and i would home sometime in the near future i would have a physique close to that.

Mods, ideas?

The chick as well maybe??

This question was asked when it first came out… I think the funniest response was “probably someone who has never done the V-Diet.”

The chick is Jelena Abbou, I’m pretty sure.

I think the woman is Jelena Abbou

Not sure who the fella is but I’m pretty sure the woman is Jelena Abbou.

Lame, but it made me laugh.

Actually, I might end up laughing to it again some time later today.

Plitt’s been modeling for years, 6’, about 180 lbs on a good day.

180lbs on a good day hm… i spose its a closer future goal than first thought haha. But having been at it for a while, you would say the muscle shape and size would be a bit different to mine if i trimmed up to that in the next year. Cheers stu.

so true…I remember a while back checking out Gregg Plitt’s website and he had a few paragraphs explaing his workout and diet. Shockingly (sarcasm) he was doing your typical 5 day split and eating clean food. GASP!!!

Edit: I found it:
"As a fitness model and actor, I am unable to gain much weight and forced to stay in a constant ready state of fitness in order to be successful in booking work on a weekly basis. My workout is a body part per day and the entire body is worked in a 5 day period.

Day 1: Chest
Day 2: Back
Day 3: Shoulders
Day 4: Arms
Day 5: Legs

I do abs at the end of each workout for 10-15 minutes and calves on every other day. I never plan a rest day, that usually happens on its own.

“On an average day, I consume food that is low in carbs, low in fat, and high in protein. I try to get 1.5 grams of protein for every pound I weigh per day. I currently weigh 195lbs, so I will get around 300 grams a day. I am able to take in 300 grams a day through protein shakes, protein bars and normal food.”
It’s a decent set up once you’ve got a base, and it’s occured to me that once I stop competing, I’ll probably settle into something similar, more days off, less concern about actually putting on size, merely maintaining a degree of size as well as leanness.

One of the guys I sometimes train with is 62 years old, and despite the fact that he’s strong as an ox, he constantly has to explain to younger kids who question him that he’s not actively trying to make gains, either in strength, or in size. He NEEDS to train, but also enjoys his life outside of the gym. Of course if he hadn’t built up a decent base over years and years he wouldn’t be able to do this (at 62, the guys hangs with me on leg day!).

…and despite what it says on Plitt’s site, when he was interviewed a few years back in a Natural BBing mag, they list his weight closer to 180 lbs,… it just SOUNDS really light for someone who’s 6’ tall, so I’m sure he exaggerates on his web page. Most people have no idea what that weight looks like at single digit bodyfat (of course most people also think that they’re 10% bodyfat -lol)

Like Stu said, 180lbs with that degree of leanness is not a “true” 180lbs. If he was even 10% he’d probably be 190-195. That dude is shredded.
