Wholesome Booty Talk

Normally I would agree, but this:

May allow for an exception. I think someone who is obviously succeeding wildly (true of you, too) is offering a gift with their (brief) unsolicited advice. Steven King wants to tell me how I can make my case notes more engaging and interesting? I’m all ears, even if I don’t NEED my case notes to be interesting.

If a 72-year-old in superior condition, or someone like you, who is in truly exceptional shape, wanders past with a quick suggestion I will probably stop them to ask for further information. Where I would have a problem is if someone like you criticized me at the grocery store for choosing this over that. My presence at the grocery store does now make apparent that I’m interested in cutting body fat, which makes advice from you on the matter gratuitous. If I’m squatting at the gym, I think my goals are obvious. Arnold may feel free to advise.

On the other hand:

There’s certainly this!

I take issue with the presupposition of goals with unsolicited advice. I am constantly given unsolicited advice on how to lift safer, when safety isn’t a goal of mine, for instance

301 deadlifts will blow your back out, brah. It’s time to get real.

There are a LOT of half squatters at my gym (all lifting less than me). I get tempted but how do I know that their half squatting isn’t intentional

Oh yes I’m like you, I watch the girls. But I watch everyone I must said. I analyze everyone’s form. On the girls there’s also the advantage of a nice view.

But the girls or gays can also stare at us, like it happened a few days ago here, as my tutor was telling how she noticed the different regard of some people analyzing the body aprts of the two new interns :joy:

Yes exactly, for some people half squatting is unfortunately the way to go.

Only reason I’m not particularly phased by staring is because I’ll casually just stare back. Sometimes I’ll smile just to bring a friendly atmosphere.

Dang just dropped in to check on the thread.
No new booty shots for the last 20 days, bummer.

My glutes have grown so much the last month or two, I might be posting some insta poses soon

I really wish I knew how to take selfies or even go to a posing school to learn how to post for body posing physique shots. Almost off my my body pictures a family or friend took it and I wasn’t flexing.

There’s a reason competitors seek oit help from posing coaches, it’s definitely not easy to hit it “right”

Find a good mirror. Biggest thing imo is lighting. You want down lighting only. Move in and out under the light to see where you look best.

How did I miss this thread? One of my favorite topics.

The recipe:
Start with plenty of activation in the dynamic warmup. Squat, various form of Split Squat, and Hip Thrust. Run sprints. Maintain your body fat at a level targeted for your target audience. Pretty simple.

Single Leg Squats are fairly effective. For illustrative purposes, here is an example of a single leg squat using a pool:

That is the best use of a pool I have seen in a long time.

Wholesomely of course.
