Who Works Out At Your Gym?

That Asian, Lilly, is awesome!
I would arm-wrestle her. The winner gets to cook Chinese food. I would, uhm… LET HER win.

I’ve since switched gyms,
but when I first came to America, JP Fux went to my gym. (he seemed normal enough)

Not a flattering pic, but it’s the one that got him famous in bodybuilding circles.
I assume you were not there when he crashed and burned? I saw a video of that. Amazing. He tried to compete after recovering from that, but quickly got out of it. He was one of the mass monsters. I know he’s from Switzerland–did he have a thick accent like Arnold?
I was not present, and I’m glad. I don’t need to be scared of squatting.
The accident actually happened in Fullerton, not in Palm Springs. “The vastus medialis in his left leg had torn, as had the patellar ligaments in his right leg.”

Hidetada trains at my gym pretty consistently. He trains around mid day though so I usually don’t see him too often.

Saw him pretty much every day in the weeks leading up to this years Olympia though.

Also saw Joel Stubbs in there, but he was in just to work on posing with Milos. Wasn’t training.
That’s so awesome. I’d love it if someone like him worked out in my gym. No one famous at mine but there’s a signed pic of robby robinson on the wall from when he went there lol

The gym I work at/workout at doesn’t have any pro bodybuilder working out there but currently or in the past we have had Shane Paulsen Mr. GA, David Pollack former UGA DE and Bengals DE, Lex Luger, Buff Bagwell, Brad Armstrong former pro wrestler, and some random Atl Hawks bench player.

A bunch of douche bags. But thats what happens when your gyms aboard a Navy boat. However, their bench is autographed by Magnus Samuelson (sp?) from when they were in Iceland, pretty cool I guess.

I trained with a relativly famous guy named bulldog beattie, He’s most famous in powerlifting circles in the UK. But he owns genesis gym in alperton, where i got the chance to train with him.
Dude has squatted a grand aswell.

Edit, Saw Andy Bolton in there one day but didn’t have the guts to go talk to him.

If it’s the same guy (fits the description) I saw him at the 24 hour fitness at the Irvine Spectrum. He stands at least 6’4".

Mark Dugdale and Todd Jewel

Have you spoken to them?

Flex Lewis does when hes back in Wales,
Havent seen him personally as ive only been there like one week

I used to train at a gym where Sergio Oliva worked out, in the early 80s. Great guy, a blast to be around - lots of energy and charisma. Interestingly, his training style at that point was similar to the things that Thibadeau talks about lately… quick reps, partial range of movement, heavy weights but handled with lots of speed and finesse and then racked.

For example, he would do seated curls with an Olympic bar (think about the range of motion there). Anyway, even though he was past his prime he was mindblowing to see in person… especially back then.

Uh… Benny Boy from RMP does. Guy is one large individual, in fact pics posted here do no justice at all.

However for a gym that looks and should be hardcore, it’s full of iPod on the arm wearing, shadowboxing in the mirror…ing, tapout wearing, 15" gunz flexing, texting inbetween set type fucking pansies.

And this one too:

Justin Harris used to train at my gym regularly. Nowadays he hits up my gym once in a while. We have lots of amateurs/national ranked Bb’s at my gym though. Some huge as fuck!

I work out at supertraining, and Stan Efferding trained with us for a few months. He also competed at one of our meets which Flex Wheeler attended, among a few other BB’s that I didn’t recognize.

Vic Richards trains at my gym about 6 months out of the year. He doesn’t really train but uses the treadmill for hours on end. Sometimes I wonder how he hangs on to that size because I rarely see him lift.

Miller’s actually training at my gym these days. In fact, he’s now running the ‘juice’ bar -lol (sorry, couldn’t help it). We’ve been through a zillion ‘juice bar guys’ in the last couple of years, I guess the gym owners figure it’ll look better with an ex-pro behind the counter (although it’s kinda sad to see his competition pics next to how he looks now)… Hell of a nice guy though.

Which gym do you go to? I am at school in NYC and have not been able to find any good gyms in Manhattan.
