I’ve been trolling the logs a bit lately, and some of them are making me want to bring mine back here… especially yours. Pure awesome.

I’m sure I missed it somewhere, but what is the situation with the no feet bench?

Thanks
thanks very much, I am really trying to bring my bench up because it is really pathetic compared to my squat and dead. so I am trying to become a really strong presser before my next contest and when I have my feet on the ground my leg drive takes over and I don’t get as much work on my underdeveloped pressing muscles. The goal is to add a little bit of solid muscle mass to my upper frame to support a bigger bench.

Big things happening in here as usual! Reading this log always gets me crazy pumped to work out…its just a shame I’m supposed to be taking a deload week at the moment!
What’s your take on rows for the big 3? Have you ever done them?

I gotcha. I’m afraid to see what I would bench without leg drive, lol

spar4tee – where’s your bench at now? I kinda want in on this race, but I’m probably a bit behind you two.

with 280x13 i doubt it I’m at 345 right now

405 is the number I want to hit for my next total so alright fellas I’m in

Been a strange first week back, after Monday’s slight hamstring and groin cramps during squats, Wednesday’s session was pretty much a bust. I don’t feel like going into a lot of detail but I decided to call this week a practice week and I’ll be restarting next Monday. Todays workout was a shortened version of next Friday so I could get some more practice squatting before my actual 6 week cycle get’s started.
Squats
135x5
225x4
315x4
455x3x3
515x2

Bench (no feet)
205x5
225x4
255x3x2
295x2x6

Dips
BW x a bunch
Front squats
205x4
245x3
285x3x2
325x3

Called it good there I will be doing some deadlifting tomorrow and then taking Sunday off prepping to start fresh on Monday
another Youtuber requested I use their song in one of my videos and so I did

Took me all night to put it all together but here is the last 6 months of my training compiled into 1 video including some training footage I’ve never released before

great log, ive read it all at once! ive got question regarding your conditioning, do you do any in between those sheiko days? or just crazy volume and olimpic lifting on off days?
i ask cos i always search for alternatives for conditioning workouts as i do not always can ( squating /deadlifting is alright but sadly running is sometimes off it beats the shit out of my leg) run as i do not have ACL in one of my knees .

your great inspiration, im year older than you but wayyyy weaker (squat 160kg / bench around 100kg -working hard on it tall guy im…/ deadlift 205kg)

take care:)

Awesome videos, really appreciate the effort you’ve been putting into them!

This log is awesome - super educational and inspirational. I love how you just attack the shit and don’t give up. I think the idea of repping out a sheiko set is a great one.

You and I both have long arms and bench is our weak point, you might try this article out especially since you seem to like high frequency and higher intensity stuff combined, not to pimp my own stuff but this really did help my bench better than any program I have ever been on:

I hope hear about continued domination from you. Thanks for sharing your info.

glad to have you along for the journey. My conditioning usually takes care of itself from the extremely high volume of the program. However, when I am feeling like I need some extra conditioning I run stairs, or use a rower after workouts. I don’t really have time to do much on my off days due to class scheduling

I’m very glad to hear that because it is definitely taking a lot of work haha

It looks interesting and I think I might like it, I’ll consider giving it a try after I finish my pre-planned 14 week cycle

I officially started my training cycle today.

Bench press
(no feet)
185x5
225x4
250x3x2
290x3x5

Squats
(no belt)
225x5
315x4
385x4
425x3x2
485x3x5

Bench Round 2
(no feet)
225x5
245x5
265x4x5

Cable flyes
10x4

The bench went very well, the squats were a soul sucking gut check. These next 6 weeks of work without a belt are going to be rough

Your squat is just ridiculous man. Any advice for someone whose weak link in their squat is their legs? My lower back takes over all the time
