Doctors hate
That lift looks fast, wonder if he’s got 1000 in mind?
Only a matter of time.
He missed it just now but if he had rested a few more days post meet he’d have had it

275 ATWR - 430kg
That equals Konstantinovs equipped deadlift record done all the way back in 2006.
Dat hip mobility though
And near-zero ROM. That’s like a rack pull above the knees for me. Not everyone is built to set deadlift records these days.
He’s a stocky looking guy. Wouldn’t know it to look at him but his hip mobility is god tier. Freak sumo lifters all seem to be able to hit great positions comfortably. Jelly
His 940 looks like Jamal’s 1015 from a while back, Jamal’s looks possibly even easier.
Different deadlift styles so looks different
Jamal pulls more slack out fast so looks to explode off the floor. Longer overall ROM too. Sticking point at the top.
Dan sticks off the floor and ROM very small so there is no speed to see. Is start then lock (or miss lol).
Front angle looks cooler

That double set-up is great. Gets into the best position he can, pulls the slack, at the new height can get into a better position, resets, pull.
Probs a good 300kg if slack gets pulled out lol
Jamal pulled that with straps though, and this was actually 948 so pretty much the same as Jamal’s meet PR. Grigsby only pulled 843 in his last meet too, but he also moved up a weight class. Unfortunately he won’t compete again for a while, he’s in the military and is getting sent off somewhere. He would probably lift a whole lot more if he was able to train consistently.
There must be a million retards who sign up for instagram just to complain about sumo and bench arches. I need to quit looking at comments.
Life is too short to hate on others lol
Or at least hate on people who deserve it. The whole argument here is that somebody is doing something that these internet commentators are physically incapable of, and they are upset about it. They always say they would be setting records or lifting big weights if they benched or pulled like that, but if so then why don’t they do it and prove how it’s “cheating”?
“Nah bro, I have too much pride to pull sumo”
“I like women bro, why would I sumo or arch?”
“RAW IS THE LAW AND SO IS CONVENTIONAL AND FLAT BACK”
Kryzstof Wierzerbicki just hit 433.5kg and missed 445kg close to lockout. Grip apparently but looked like he wouldn’t of made the last bit of it anyways.
Done as part of a full power meet: 310, 197.5, 433.5 SBD. BW 97.9kg
Is on his story if u have access or on this guys in potato quality
