Who Listens to Podcasts?

I do a lot of driving during the week, and since terrestrial radio blows and is more commercials than anything, I’ve taken to the iPod exclusively. Since January I’ve been subscribing to and listening to various Podcasts, and I’m sure I can’t be the only one.

Any of you guys listening? Which ones do you like? I could use some new stuff to listen to.

Right now I’m subscribing to

Cort and Fatboy Show (out of Portland)
Adam Carolla Show
Adam Carolla Carcast
Joe Rogan Experience
WTF with Marc Maron
Kevin Pollaks’ Chat Show
Doug Benson Loves Movies

Was wondering if you guys could recommend podcasts more about book discussions, news topics, sports, etc.

I only listen to the podcasts from spill.com

Give it a try. If you don’t like, go fuck yourself.

Red Bar Radio mah’fucka

I like ESPN’s Football today podcast leading upto and during the season. I also like IGN’s Game Scoop(everything), Beyond(PS3) and Keeping it Real(Movies) podcast. If you like ESPN’s PTI or Around the Horn you can download them, and you can also get Dan Patrick’s whole show for the day if you like DP, some ppl don’t.

And Mackk your avatar is funny as shit

All you facebookers and your podcasts.

I know what a podcast is but do they cost money? I don’t even know how it works. Download to your computer and transfer to your ipod? I am curious but I don’t drive a whole lot…check that… drive long distances/durations.

Excuse me as I finish my DOS commands on my green screen 8 inch computer.

Good call on Adam Carolla

I used to listen to Vomitus Prime but then it got stale

Now I listen to EconTalk with Russ Roberts … probably not your cup o’ tea

I also listen to Tom O’Brien (tfnn finacial news). Once again, not really entertaining but informative.

They’re free.

You download them to the computer from Itunes or what have you, then put them on the ipod. I’ve got an ipod touch so I’ll download them from wifi spots too, depends.

i subscribe to max grahams, john digweeds, blank and jones ‘trance around the world’, tiestos club life, (there are a few other trance ones, the problem is the guys rarely update them, thats why i have so many).

Then i get NPR’s wait wait dont tell me, freakonomics radio, and how stuff works.

I used to get carollas car cast but it didnt do it for me.

go to www.bobbybones.com and you can download their radio show under the podcasts link. It’s a morning show based out of Austin and also gets sent to other cities, extremely entertaining and I highly recommend it. Also kid kraddick has a decent show at kiddlive.com, but I prefer bobby bones.

Been listening to Adam Carolla for a while.

Thanks lol, I think so too. And for all those Aam Carolla lovers, Redbarradio is quite similar but new and different.

I tried Red-bar a while ago, and unless they stepped up their game it’s not for me.

Same goes for smodcast. I thought Kevin Smith and Scott Moser sitting around bullshitting would be funny, but it’s not.
