Does anybody else here listen to Opie and Anthony on XM or local radio?
I’ve been obsessed with them for just about two years and I was just sitting here listening to them on the replay and was curious if anyone on here listen to them.

Jim Norton is pretty damn funny. Opie and Anthony are not.
I’m old school O&A. I used to listen to them when they were on 102.3 WBAB in New York (being a good Long Island boy myself). They were fucking hilarious back then, like, pull your car over because you might get a ticket for restless drive or drive off the road funny. Since they got fired and came back on XM and now on K-Rock in NY, they fuckin blow goats. I don’t even think Norton is that great.
If you want radio comedy at its best, do yourself a favor and download the handful of clips they have with Jim Breuer, Frank Caliendo, and Brian Regan. That really epitomizes how funny they used to be.

I usually Podcast the Adam Carolla show myself… Probably the best morning radio going in my opinion.
O and A did do some funny stuff back in the day, Brian Regan comes to mind, but he is a comedy God in my eyes.
Fuck XM, it sucks, go Sirius and listen to Stern. Local radio, Philly, South Jersey area, Preston and Steve in the morning 93.3 WMMR. FUCKING HILARIOUS!! Great show!!

I listen to Don and Mike (Radio Gods) along with Buzz Burbank and Racist Rob Spewack on WJFK. On my local station it’s 1140AM.

Yes, I am in my truck for 3-5 hours a day working, I listen almost exclusively to 202 on my XM. Fucking love it.
I started listening to them in the WNEW days during my commute home. Breuer, Regan, Jay Mohr, lots of strippers, the studio couch, all that stuff. They were awesome.
I listen to them on XM now. I really like Patrice O’Neal and Jim Norton, but the show, in general, is not as funny as it once was. The FCC has really cracked down on radio, which is the main reason they can’t be as funny as they were.

Love O&A despite the show not being what it used to be. Before they got fired for the whole church thing they had some of the best bits ever, I miss the fake “mom I’m in prison” calls, probably the funniest shit ever on the radio.
I don’t find them funny.
Same for Don and Mike.
Think they’re all kind of Howard Stern wannabes.
Before anyone mentions the Greaseman, I’d like to weigh in with not finding him funny either.

I agree. They’d be on 102.7 every day when I got home from high school… I remember when the biggest celebrity that listened to their show was the guy who played the backup for Grimace in the McDonald’s commercials.
People used to call up and say, “You guys suck! Play some Zep dude!”
They were at their best then. They are still great, and Norton is genius, but they’ve lost something because the government literally sucked the fun out of the universe. They could easily be as great as they were… but they’d only last a week on the radio.
I’ve been an O&A listener since I was 13, great in the past, they hold their ground now, but back when they were on at afternoons it was amazing.
My God. Was I the only one fucking hysterical today when they were talking about shooting dolphins with Anthoy’s arsenal off Opie’s boat?

How is Stern? I haven’t heard him since he made the switch. He was great for years but I thought he really lost it after his wife dumped him.
