That’s pretty sick right there, especially with that double overhand grip.

You get my tip-o-the-hat for that one. Wow. Great pull.

Wow Hulk, that is incredibly impressive. For your age and weight, even more so. How tall are you?

i just about shit myself when you stayed double overhand instead of switching to mixed! awesome pull man!

Not going to lie, I feel completely and totally inadequate at life after watching this.

The 700lb pull.
The double overhand grip.
The bloody nose.

Hopefully it’s not too late for me to take up knitting.

It’s a hook grip. Still a very good pull.

haha knitting lol thanks guy…I was/am pretty excoited to finally get it.

not that its rare, just takes awhile.
I would have to say it is a rare thing. Me and a friend were talking a while back that if you were to populate a city only with people who could pull 700 plus it would be a very small city.

I don’t remember how we got on the topic but nither one of us would be living there at the moment but I sure as shit would make the commute to go to the gym.
My son just started powerlifting this past year. When he is with his mom he must train at what he calls Lgay fitness, in York, pa.

He is just shy of 400 at 132. The next heaviest deadlift he sees in that gym is 225 for s rep or two.

405 might be rarer than you think.

FUCK…

Jesus Christ, hook grip on a 700lb deadlift must make your thumbs feel great.

Maybe that’s where the bloody nose came from…lol

I’m another one of those that feels totally inadequate now…thanks Chris. Seriously, that is a GREAT PULL! Wouldn’t believe it was possible for someone your size and age if I hadn’t seen it.

My best was a couple years ago when I pulled 560 after doing a triple at 525…but I was using wrist straps with a double overhand to assist my grip strength and protect the biceps…so it’s not a real number. Haven’t gone over 455 since then.

Max is 660. I guess I have a new goal now.

Double Deuce, that’s a funny setup your friend has. Looks real loose, I think he’s even chewing something during lockout. Strong like bull, though.
