Who here wears glasses or contacts or had laser eye surgery?
My real question is: Why do you think you need them?
Do you have Myopia or Hyperopia or Astigmatism?
i wear contacts bc i cant see stuff from far away.

I think I need my glasses/contacts so that I can see farther than 6" in front of my face.
I had the surgery done 5 years ago.
I have astigmatism and thus wear contacts and glasses. I hope to have my astigmatism corrected and Lasik within the next year.

naaah, I wear contacts because I like the feeling of my eyes being constantly dry … I like people to think I have parkinsons from the amount of times I blink in a minute
Or I can’t see shit 6" in front of my face.
I have both. Contacts rock the fucking socks but I need glasses occiasionally just to give my eye’s a rest for a day or two

I have glasses and will have contacts june 11, would of had them by now but the day of my appointment the doctor left for Haiti to do charity work for two weeks. He could have atleast said…oh ya brb lol. =.=

I wear both. hate both. I think of my glasses as my one largest flaw. Waiting to get the surgery.
Tried getting into the Canadian military but they wont let me with my eye sight. Funny thing is I’ve taken marksmanship courses and received expert marksmanship with my glasses on. The military just doesnt want to pay for my surgery out of their pocket.
Because God deemed us weaker than others and we had to fight that harder to survive the millennium.
as a note my eye sight is 20/400
I wear both, but I like contacts more. I wish I got into them sooner, Acuvue Oasys are the best ones I have used to far. I have 20/50 vision, nothing real bad, but I love the laser like sharpness when I have my contacts in. Having them in too long causes dry eyes, and that sucks ass.
Wore glasses/contacts for 17 years. Then had lasik. Money very well spent.
Only issues I had were a lot of dryness, which is why contacts never worked for me, but since I cleaned up my diet and added in fish oil a few years back that problem is gone.

I’ve always felt bad for you people who can’t wear contact lenses for extended periods of time without your eyes drying up.
I leave mine in 24/7 and have never had a problem with dry eyes, infections, or anything.

That’s what I use. I don’t even take them out anymore. Every month or so I actually remember I am wearing contacts and take them out to let me eyes rest for a few days.
I will be getting LASIK or PRK in the next couple of years fo’ sho’ tho’.
