i read the hole thread and i honestly have to say. you did a good job analysing his possible opponents…
But you forgot to mention the snowman. he is really strong has good submissions and hes on a great winning streak. i mean he fights a lot .
Fought Roy Nelson, Sergei Karithonov and a bunch of useless guys…
on a good day he can beat brock.

I don’t think you can compare Brock to Sylvia. Monson might do well, he might not. He’s not even in the UFC anymore is he?

Mir owned Sylvia on ground, Sylvia more than held his own against Monson. Brock killed Mir and he would kill Monson, many thought Big Country beat Monson. Fedor Emelianenko is easily the best fighter in the world. Has everyone forgot about what he accomplished in PRIDE, which had during its day the best HW division in any completion. Just because Pride had to fold doesn’t mean the fighters were terrible and their achievements erased. The Hw division in the UFC before acquiring PRIDE was a JOKE, none of the competitors in the UFC could come close to the top 4 or 5 PRIDE HW fighters.
Fedor is smart, experienced, well rounded, proven and still driven.
Lesnar, Please. How many fights has he won? who exactly has he fought? has he ever really been tested? Has he really fought the best fighters in the world at his weight class (becides a old randy couture)?
Fedor’s only lost came at the expense of a cut. Lesnar couldn’t hold his communist made boot straps.

There is no question fedor is a god amongst men, but he has never faced someone with brocks combination of size, speed, and wrestling ability. He has fought Guys with lots of size, but no speen and no wrestling. He has fought guys with lots of speed and wrestling, but not the size, Brock is a unique individual that brings a whole bunch of problems to anyone who steps into the ring with him.
As soon as you produce me a fighter that KO’s his opponent on the first strike every time, I will tell you that person could beat Brock every single time. Other than that magical person, if brock takes you down, you are going to get punished.

I’m one of Fedor’s biggest fans, however, it is stupid to think that Lesnar presents no challenge to Fedor, and to attempt to diminish his accomplishments by saying he’s faced no one. He knocked out Randy, he knocked out Mir. He has plenty left to prove as he’s only 5 fights deep into his career, but to ignore the potential he has is a bit asinine in my opinion. It looks like he has the drive to continue improving which could be very scary for any potential opponent of his.

I’d like to see a Mirko Cro Cop vs. Brock Lesnar fight, The problem is that Cro Cop isnt much of a grappler, nor does he have very good ground defense. As soon as Lesnar took him to the ground the fight would be over. If Cro Cop improved his grappling and ground defense and managed to make it a more standup than ground match, there is no doubt in my mind that Cro Cop could beat Lesnar.

Cro Cop isn’t going to improve much of anything at this point in his career without water from The Fountain of Youth.
