Which Version of Assistance Work for 5/3/1

Coming off Rippetoes and looking to start this out on Monday which set of assistance work do you reccomend if i’m reading this right.

Squat Day

Squat: 5x10x50%
Lug Curls: 5x10

Bench Press Day

Bench Press: 5x10x50%
DB Rows: 5x10

Deadlift Day

Deadlift: 5x8x50%
Hanging Leg Raises: 5x12

Mil. Press Day

Mil. Press: 5x10x50%
Chins: 5 sets to failure.

OR

Squat Day
Leg Press 5x15
Leg Curl 5x10

Bench Press Day
Dumbell chest press 5x15
Dumbell row 5x10

Deadlift Day
Good Mornings 5x12
Hanging leg raises 5x15

Mil. Press Day
Dips 5x15
Chinups 5x10

We don’t know your goals. How can we recommend one vs. the other?

Are you trying to get bigger, stronger, faster, leaner or healthier? Don’t say all of the above!

Choose 1 of the above and then assistance exercises can be recommended for a certain period of time, if your goals change then so do your exercises.

I prefer the second option for overall strength gains. After im done squatting the last thing i want to do is more squats.
