I know there are many medical professionals on the boards here. I am in need of a new stethoscope, my 8 year old Prestige has finally had it. I am thinking a Littmann Master Classic II or a Cardiology III. Is there enough of a quality and sound difference between the two to make the price difference worth it? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
What are you going to be using it for? What’s your job/what are you in school for?
I use a Littmann Lightweight for working on a truck. Had it for years, it’s reliable and I can hear everything I need to hear, and obviously it’s light, something to think about when it’s bobbing around your neck 12+ hours.
I’m in nursing school now so I need it for assessments of heart, lung and bowel sounds .
