Best Headphones For Weightlifting?

Like most, I have to have my music going while I lift weights (although my gym sometimes actually plays decent music over the speakers).

I’ve always used full-sized, over-the-ears wireless headphones. They’re comfortable, and I don’t like earbuds, so I’ve stayed with them.

Lately I’ve been getting some headaches, probably related to working out, and I’m wondering if the headphones are contributing. They’re not that tight around my head – but wearing them for hours a week, in combination with heavy weights – is that a recipe for headaches? Maybe.

Thanks for any advice about this.

Good question. I use both Beats over the ear and Samsung buds. I prefer the sound of the big Beats but they don’t let your head dissipate heat when temperatures are higher. I’ve used cheaper headphones and they don’t last. No issues with headaches, but I don’t get headaches. I would like to hear about different headphones to know if there is any better.
Could the quality of the headphones be a factor?

I buy the cheap ones because I will wreck/lose one of them anyway
I broke my very favorite open ear, bone conduction ones last month. Now, they are no longer available :disappointed_relieved:
