You also have to factor how long it takes you to complete each workout. Rest between sets is a factor.

You might be moving more pounds/minute with the 10x3.

If you’re doing both in the same amount of time, I’d go with the first one. You’ll have done more work.

Although I think that someone who can do the first workout can probably do 10x3 with a heavier weight than 195.
