Where to Go on a Powerlifting Holiday?

Hello Everybody

I am in the situation that i have a lot of vacation over the summer 6-7 weeks and i would like to take a trip somewhere and just train. But it would be cool if there were some qualified coaches to help.

does anyone know if such a place exist ? i always seem to find something that are only for spinning and such and i dont want that… i wont to become strong !

or should one just plan their own at home ?

Well, there is Charles Staley’s Bed and Barbell ( http://www.bedandbarbell.com/ ), but it seems like a bit of a stretch if you’re actually in Denmark.

Finland, it’s close to you and you could maybe train with Ano

You could travel around the USA, visiting various PL gyms throughout the country as well as seeing all sorts of other things. I would make a list of 6-10 gyms to visit, rent a car, and drive around the country. Maybe spend a few days or a week in each place. If you want to be cheap you can sleep in your car; poop and shower at the gym; and cook in the parks and rest areas.

We’ve had guys from the UK, Canada and other parts of the US come train with us at Super Training. Some for a few days. Some for a few weeks. They all had friends or relatives to stay with or were in town for work. They all had a good time and said they learned a lot.

And they got fat…

The second they walked in.

Except for the one guy who was too tall to get fat. It was nice of you to step up and be his designated fat-bearer. Way to take one for the team.
