Yes I did this program and yes it worked great. My lifts increased really well as did my size. I put on quite a bit of weight and it also helped me get the main excersizes dialled in just right.
Without more info I have no idea if you are doing your squats right or not. I’d get someone to show you how (but make sure they really know themselves). Have a google for video of people squatting, there’s plenty out there. Even better, can yo get some video of you squatting and post it up here?
As LA says, lift some weight and stop thinking so hard. There really is a lot to learn and you cant take it all in at once.
