I was doing concentration curls a few weeks ago and lost my concentration. Luckily, I remained unharmed, but it was the biggest scare of my life. Turned my teeth snow-white over night…

This happened to me and I came to in some bushes in Houston.
I see a lot of different ways of dumping the bar, so my advice is this.
PRACTICE. Yes, practice failing. Throw 135 on the bar, and figure out where you could drop it that it would cause the least amount of damage. I have to work out alone 2 weeks out of 10 in a basement, and I know just how to dump every exercise if I’m going to miss, and this is without a power cage.
This apply’s not just to floor press, but any lift.
As for getting pinned while deadlifting, try deadlifting off boxes, that way the bar doesn’t fall on your foot.
