I have been learning about complexes lately and is wondering where could i put them… my training split consists of:
Monday - Lower
Tuesday - (complex???)
Wednesday - Upper
Thursday - (Complex???)
Friday - Lower
Saturday - Upper
Sunday - Rest
Now on Tuesday and Thursday I like to do conditioning work like running, sprinting, etc. and I was thinking maybe that’s where the complexes could come in… not too sure but could someone help me out on this one… BTW I train for strength and love to train heavy.
That’s a diificult one. I think I would replace one lower body session with complexes. Or not even complexes pure plyos are better most of the time. Just to be clear though complexes are not something you should be year round in IMO . But for perhaps blocks of 4-6 weeks. Also take any joint pain very seriously.
