When Does a "Fake" Pandemic Become "Real"?

I forget the exact stat, but food keeps people on average something like 30 minutes longer at a bar and are more likely to have an extra drink. Food is a vital part for the bar business, not because the food is profitable, but they make more money in liquor sales.

But you shouldn’t be required to order food, in a BAR. It’s another band-aid on a bullet wound situation.

You apparently are unaware that the Cuomos are in the chip business.

“Cuomo Chips”? Saw the article today on NY Post. Plus countless others. Classic stuff.

I’m hoping Chris is English for Fredo?

“Vote for Cuomo, not the homo.” Ah, the good old days.

That homo fought in the… Battle of the Bulge. Is it too soon?

Thought of you when I saw this. Sure hope the dude doing your eye surgery isn’t one of those annoying ass doctors who have a medical license. Big government bullshit. You should be able to go to the dude on the corner for that. Last thing you want is someone educated at one of those college things they have working on your eyes.

Don’t let them stick that big government in you. You find yourself a nice mountain man shaman or something to do that for you. Someone who believes in the power of the ancients and natural world and not just this hokey science stuff.

I thought you said that was upcoming but I may have read that wrong. Don’t you dare let those fuckers say you have to wear a mask in like all the hospitals in my area are providing for people to wear. Fucking big government bullshit making the doctors wear gloves and masks even before this.

Koch blocking is serious bidness.

The government does this with pretty much anything other than alcohol despite science indicating booze tends to be far more dangerous than many substances deemed illicit when consumed to excess, is that also the definition of insanity?

Getting rip-roaring drunk tends to induce fights, risky behaviour, large crowds of people, talking/dancing etc. Not a great idea when trying to reduce communicable spread…

We need to sacrifice some semblance of personal freedoms at this point if we wish to get everything under control for the time-being. Some spread is inevitable, but we don’t want it getting to the point wherein ICU beds are full, we have no ventilators left for sick patients etc… eventually Joe coming in with a heart attack can’t receive adequate treatment.

Many countries have/previously locked down entirely. Mandating you buy some food with a beer is nothing compared to the lockdown most European countries had… and as a result they’re better off. I’d also add if your civil liberties (i.e the choice to wear a mask) deleteriously effects the health of others, it’s no longer just a personal freedom. At that point ramifications exist on a larger scale.

Now do one of a droplet that contains Covid.

So you have some image picture and you think that beats studies and what medical professionals say? No one’s saying you can’t get/give Covid with a face mask. They are saying you lessen the chances of spreading it. But I get that your cute picture is apparently enough of an argument for you. Maybe if all the health professionals see that they will realize they are wrong of course. They probably aren’t as enlightened as you.

Of course you don’t think it can be spread because you reject Covid and if you listen to medical professionals you’re a big government something something. Dude you’re in the PWI T-Nation Hall of fame of dumbasses right now. I just wonder what else you’re in the dark about. Holocaust real? 9/11 inside job? Civil war faked?

These grand pronouncements of “OK assholes, listen…”, and characteristic flagrant stupidity put him on par with Greenboy.

Uncanny resemblance, really. If he rambled on about 3rd world street girls that you could buy like tacos I’d say they were twins.

Meh we’ve had plenty of others that were worse probably in terms of quantity but this is just such a bad take.

Years from now people will look back and say man you had a pandemic and people didn’t listen to doctors when they were in a near consensus about the easy things to do? No wonder the US failed so badly with it. I could see if the steps were difficult but they aren’t.

I feel really badly for you if the person who said something that moronic is smarter than you. This is one of the most uninformed statements I have heard in a while. It displays a severe lack of knowledge about anything scientific. You are aware that different particles range widely in mass, right? The main molecule responsible for the fart smell, hydrogen sulfide, is MUCH smaller (and lighter) than a virus adhered to a droplet. Based on that, which do you think would be more likely to remain airborne and find its way through the tiny holes in a mask?

Spreading that kind of misinformation is very dangerous.

Another ‘expert’ opinion, huh?
Adhered to a droplet yes. If the person with active virus is the one wearing the mask.
Aerosol virus, unbound is much tinier than a mask weave and all but the most sealed and filtered masks will not stop it. A bandanna or surgical mask won’t do shit to keep one from getting sick. That is of course, you hold the opinion that the virus cannot spread through the air, unbound from a saliva droplet. I have heard both.

Masks are fine for people who are sick and spitting, but they should not be in public anyway. Evidence on asymptomatic spread is now unconfirmed. Sick people should stay the hell home.

A mask will not keep an unsick person exposed to an unmasked sick person from getting sick. A mask will prevent a sick person from spreading it.
Proper hygiene is still the best protection against any disease much more effective than a mask.

From the article below:
" Masks can be a source of infection for the person wearing them, according to the [WHO]"
