When Did You Stop Growing In Height?

What kind of a sick son of a bitch hates cereal?!?!?

I think Rock doesn’t like it coz of the blatant plaigarism of his image, used for commercial cereal gain of us mortal folk.

LOL

Nah man, I was awkward as fuck (Still am, to some extent!) Didn’t get laid until I was 19.
Should come to the UK… Girls jump in bed with anyone above 5’10 here as a general rule of thumb. I’m sure they’re all in a union, trying to make sure the next generation isn’t sub 5’10
I’m bang on 5ft 10" and English and 21 in 2 months… if I can just grow THAT LITTLE BIT MORE I will “have all teh bitches” it would seem

Been 5ft 10" or very close since 15/16 though…

8th grade, 14 I guess. 6 ft. even.

I hadn’t grown a centimeter since I was 14. Last year, at 20, I suddenly grew almost an entire inch and I am unsure if it is still going on.

But the sad part is I’m still just shy of 5’3"… lol

Please feel sorry for me and send me money.

haha this thread made me feel just a bit better after having a shitty day. i feel pretty good that i’ll be turning 18 in about two weeks and im 6 foot 1 and 194 pounds. pretty low bodyfat too. not six pack status but you can tell i have a solid midsection lol. and if i follow my brothers pattern i’ll prolly grow anothe 1-1.5 inches during college

I stopped growing when I was 13. I’ve been between 5’6.5" and 5’7" for the past four and a half years.

CS

Ive been 5ft 10inch since i was 18 and aint grown a bit since.

I was usually one of the taller kids in class, like maybe fairly above average height I’d say, but like many here, I don’t know what my numbers were until 15 or 16. I think I was like 5’9" in 10th grade. Hit a growth spurt to 6 feet for my junior year, then jumped up to 6’3" my senior year. By the time I finished growing sometime during my freshman year in college, I was at 6’4".

Oddly enough, my best friend, who I met when I was 12 or 13 has always been about an inch to a half inch shorter than myself. We hit our growth spurts at the same times and stopped growing at the same time, but he’s 2 years younger than me. It was crazy, like a crazy competition that we didn’t know we were participating in to keep up with each other. That coupled with the fact that I’m the tallest in my family by far (this is extended family, too, except one cousin who is 6’2") makes me think that nurture plays a bigger role than most people think in the nature vs. nurture argument.

It’s not simply cuz they’re tall, I’ll echo Pimpbot and say that being tall never seemed to help me, since I didn’t even lose my v-card till 20. Awkward and skinny up until around that point, but mostly because I had no confidence (except when it came to a couple things) and was really nervous when talking or trying to talk to girls.

What really helped me was putting on more weight. When I stopped growing, I weighed about 170 to 175. I was up to 220 by the time I was 22 and now stay around 240. Body fat didn’t go up much until I was about 23, it still isn’t very high now, but not low either. Putting on about 50 pounds of muscle will do wonders for your confidence (if you were previously having issues with it, that is).

I think I may have to take a trip to the UK sometime soon.

I stopped growing at just over 6’2" aged 17. I never really had a growth “spurt”, just was always tall for my age and grew gradually.

My brother, who has always been a lot more active than me and plays rugby at a very high level, was always significantly shorter than me for his age until he broke his arm: he took a couple of months off exercise and had a huge growth spurt. He is now 6’1" at age 17.

I don’t think breaking an arm is a great idea for increasing height though haha, just what happened to him.

6’2 at 13, when I left high school 6’2.5

If that half inch had gone down my trousers I would have been a happy man.

Story of my life.

At the age of 13 i was 5,4

Then my body started to go crazy, insane growing pains. the skin on my shoulders started to tear so did the skin on my biceps and inside of my elbow joints. 3 years later i was 6,1.

Stopped growing at 22, I’ve reached 6,6

Couldnt sleep at night due the pain in my joints from growing what a hell…
