Amon Amarth and Kalmah are really good metal bands to listen to. Both have good melody (hence, melodic death metal). New Slayer album is a bit more melodic, so that is good. ACDC is always good. Machine Head, good. HammerFall, Helloween, also good. In Flames, of course.
