there are a LOT of threads on intermittent fasting on this site. Use the search function and I’m sure you’ll find the answer to all your questions
“Good” for what, exactly? Different diets do different things. I shucked 50 lbs. of mostly fat running something vary close to Carb Night Solution (John Keifer), but you can’t really gain any lean mass while running CBL. Right now I’m playing around with carb backloading. I hit my target weight and I am holding at my target weight and gradually leaning out while making better strength gains using CBL.
There’s more than one way to skin a cat, however, and John Berardi knows his stuff, and so does Shelby Starnes, and so do a lot of others with different ideas on how to do things.
What is your goal?

just aiming to lose ~15 pounds , wanna compete in a different weight class
I think Carb Night Solution works great for cutting fat and holding on to muscle. That’s assuming you have fat to lose and don’t need to cut lean mass as well to make weight. Once you hit your target weight or a little lower you can switch over to carb backloading or something else for maintenance.
Again, others have had good luck with other diets, but CNS worked well for me.

I would just do “Carb Backloading” and skip the “Carb Night solution” step. As a fighter with only 15 pounds to lose performance is key. Carb night solution is just going to leave you feeling sluggish and depleted.
You will definitely lose fat more quickly on Carb Night but going 10 days in a row without carbs while training for a fight… I wouldn’t want to do it.

To answer this question I never recommend KETO to my athletes unless they are out of season and extremely over weight.
If I had to pick I would go with IF out of these options. Plenty of ways to skin the IF cat that would still let you preform well at practice.
Just FYI, I haven’t lost any weight backloading, although I have been holding nicely while increasing strength and leaning out a bit. I think anyway he loses 15 lbs. is going to make him feel sluggish while training, so my take is get it over with as fast as possible and then settle into that body weight. Again, there’s more than one way to skin a cat, but that’s my take.
ok, thx for the heads up guys, guess ill just stay with the normality , eat less train more .
Thanks again
