Also, (if anyone is interested) he measured at 6’0.25" and 191.6 lbs. He went to Kentucky and played for the Clippers, Suns, and Milwaukee (and short stops elsewhere). Those pictures were when he played in Phoenix, which was the 2017-18 year (the numbers from his bodyfat were in 2010, the year he was drafted).
That’s fine they continue to be like that and I’ll continue my way I asked a simple question and all people had to do was give an estimate and go about their day but hey let the games begin lol
I’d suggest you focus less on games and more on work. In 2012, your goal was to hit 190 pounds. You’re still not even there yet, so your diet and training have sucked for a very long time.
Way back then, it was also explained that guessing bodyfat percentages is totally pointless. Guess that didn’t really sink in, even though you seemed to get it at the time.
A thread asking how to fix your plan would’ve been much more useful than a thread asking people to estimate a pro athlete’s body fat as if the answer will have any bearing whatsoever on what you should be doing.
Imagine not even knowing what you are talking about lmao
I started lifting as you said in 2012 I got up to 226 pounds by 2015 with a bench press max of 405,deadlift of 475 and Squat of 425 my bf% was about 20-22% I cut back down to 189 in 2017 shredded now I’m trying to be even leaner than that know what your talking about before talking lmaoooo
226 on this picture as you can see I was very muscular my man
I notice that professional athletes (like Blesoe in the original post) have a lower body fat than you might guess compared to bodybuilders. I would be curious as to why this is. My thoughts:
You can’t see inside the body. Professional athletes of certain sports develop a muscularity that is not so much “showy” but full body. They don’t care what their appearance or BF% is, but will naturally get to a low BF% that maximizes their performance.
BBers will dry out, pump up, etc… to get that specific look. Pro athletes are well hydrated, carbo-loaded, etc… so it isn’t as apparent.
I was tested when I was in my early 20’s and very athletic. I was 170 lbs at 5’9". I was tested by calipers and total immersion as part of a University study. My percentage was 9.77%, but I bet if I posted a pic of myself from then people would guess 15% or so (based on what people say from others who post). My point: athletes will have a lower BF% than you would guess when your comp is BBers.
