I live in a small town in northern italy (mainland Venice)
here it’s very boring compared to other places…
It’s not much about not having places to go, but the genaral attitude of peoplo towards having fun and going out…People here are very “complicated”, it’s hard to explain. It’s like people find excuses for not having fun instead being the other way around: funding solutions to party even more !
Here where I live if you don’t have a circle of cool friends you’re doomed to total boredom…
I wish I lived in city with vibrant night life…
What about you guys ?
Social life is what you make it. I live in a shittly little market town (it doesn’t even have a cinema!).
I’ve got a good group of close friends who I go out with most weekends, but I also go climbing and diving fairly regularly, and if I see something that interests me, I’ll give it a try.
Well, I live in a college town, so it’s quite fucking decent. Although this place is a little more dependent on bars, opposed to my first university, which was all house parties and shit shows every day of the week.
K-Zoo baby, partied there plenty of times SSC…ha, great place. the firehouse used to be my hangout when I’d come visit friends. i went to ferris state to play ball and then finished up at eastern and now reside in ann arbor, mi. nightlife is pretty sweet here, great on weekends during the football season. the only downfall is rich kids or snobby michigan students who think they’re the shit. not a bad place to live though.
Upstate NY State here and in the winter months it all about pubs. We have no clubs to speak of, so you go to a tavern, play bar games like fuesball, darts, pool, shuffle board etc… Summer is all about golfing and having a bonfire party. This is literally all we do. Also we live near Matts Brewery, they make Utica Club, Matts, Saranac and some others. They have a block party every thursday over the summer, they bring a band in a close a couple blocks down for a nice big party. Called Saranac thursdays, I have even seen a saranac thursday in other cities, though they are usually just a glorified happy hour at a particular bar.
Other non-partying activities are anything you can think of doing in the adirondacks, camping, fishing, hiking, biking, kyaking, Heck sometimes I will take a tractor inner tube and floating styrafoam cooler filled with a 6 pack of beer and float down our local stream for an afternoon (just have to know where the big falls are).

I have only been living in KZ for 8 months now, I moved here from BC.
There was nothing to do in BC.
Anyway, what is there to do here in KZ? I mainly stay in my apartment because I hate going out during the winter, but now that summer is almost here I dont know what there is to do around here. I would like to go to some heavy metal vomit parties, or at least a club that plays metal.
When I lived in Anaheim there was this club I went to on Sundays that played a lot of old school thrash and death metal. I wish I could find soemthing like that out here.
I live outside of Boston, MA (USA) and don’t have a large amount of friends that share the same values as me. Stuff like being sober, eating healthy, saving money and being strong.
I live just far enough away that it’s a bitch to drive into the city on fri/sat nights (30-40mi) so I don’t do too much besides lift, eat, relax, watch DVDs and take advantage of the weather when it’s nice.
I’d rather live my simple, inexpensive lifestyle for a few years right now and be able to pay off tons of my debt and live it up later on in life.
It really helps me live this way that my girl is awesome and does teh same thing.
Grand Rapids is actually pretty decent as far as the bar scene/house party scene goes. Although if you’ve had a bit too much of all that like I have and want to do active stuff there isn’t a lot to do or a lot of people interested in it it seems. Then again I could just be stuck in the party circle and not the one I want to be in. Haven’t decided yet

mann i live in a decent sized town and I’d say most of the socializing here revolves around hockey. I find this pretty gay cause I don’t much care for hockey but seeing all the puck bunnies around sometimes makes me wish i got into it when I was younger lol
Houston,Tx. Meh,its alright. Lots of Clubs, strip Clubs,Bars, and House parties. Since im a student and I only have a part time job,Im VERY selective on where and when I go. For example,I paid 30 bucks for some tickets to go see Armin Van Buuren. Worth it but thats like 2 Nightclubs or 3 Country-Western Clubs or 2 trips to the strip club and movies. So that one night at the concert cost me 2 later nights. No biggie though,So worth it.
