I would love to be anywhere near a market that has buffalo or ground bison. Buffalo burgers taste amazing. The only kind ive seen available to me is like 10$ a pound online and they ship it dry ice.

Trader Joe’s has it in their frozen section. I buy a package (4 burgers) a week. $5.69 for 20 oz.

Trader Joe’s has a great selection of quality food (organic, free range, minimally processed, etc.) - at reasonable prices. I do 90% of my shopping there and I’m usually in and out in 20 minutes. Here’s their website: www.traderjoes.com

Thats a cool lookin place, and there’s one 12 miles from me. Thanks. I appreciate it.[/quote]

Oh trader joes is an amazing place!

I usually try to buy bulk so I can have enough from paycheck to paycheck (Every two weeks). Still getting used to the two week stretch.
But I usually buy:
Egg Beaters + Carton of Eggs
Lots of Tuna/Salmon Canned
Frozen Salmon Patties (Wild)
Spinach
Broccoli
Red Onion
Some Canned Veggies (Butter Beans, Black Eyed Peas, English Peas)
One loaf of usually whole/7 grain/or pumpernickel
Skim Milk
Frozen Steampacks of veggies and frozen fruit (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries)
Fresh Fruits like Bananas, and Apples, I tried a Pluot the other day and it was very very good
Walnuts/Almonds
Mushrooms

A quick question though. When we’re watching carbs, do we count certain fruits like bananas or all of them? And certain veggies i.e. carrots?

Eggs
Kefir/Culture Milk
Nuts
Frozen vegetables
I throw in some meat/chicken/fish whenever I can afford it

This is what I usually buy on a daily basis. Together with the stuff I stock up on (like oats, canned tuna and protein powder), I believe this covers all my needs nutrition wise.

orange roughy

“Just pick me up a box of condoms, and… whats that thing we used to eat all the time back in the day? oh yeah… pussy.” - half baked

Apples
Carrots
Spinach
Blueberries
Ground beef (97% fat free)
Top Round Steaks
Chicken
Oatmeal
Brown Rice
Granola
Almonds
EB Eggs
Fat Free Cheese
Ham
Hot Sauce!

I love going food shopping, it only takes me 10min to buzz around while the people who came in at the same time as me aren’t past the first aisle. Suckers!

For what it’s worth, i buy…

Beeeeeef (full fat)
Chicken breasts
eggs
spinach
broccoli
olive oil
flax seeds
mint sauce/mustard/condiments
chillis
peppers
mushrooms
carrots
celery
fish oil
vinegar

and that’s about it

How can you make a sandwich without this?
