Civil Engineer working in Geotechnical Engineering for the Feds. 7 years and still plugging…

I work for the Man - basically I aim to keep the Brother down 24/7-365. We are f*cking relentless, and it is rewarding as hell.

Ahh … but really I work for a BBEOC (Big Bad Evil Oil Company.) Petroleum engineer … wait … well that’s what they pay me for … in general I peruse T-Nation all day yet somehow manage to eek out a couple of hours of productivity each day.

I’m just in a rut lately, and isn’t personal progress from training more rewarding than some oil well that makes someone else $30k per day?

( … Office space rings familiar … )

Bastard F*ck Guy

I’m a “black hat” for hire: a reverse engineer. I crack software for a living. I am not a wAreZ dOoD or like that. I’m a forensic analyst. I work as a contractor to patent attorneys. I’m on my first contract, and it is a real lulu. I get to bill by the hour for playing computer games. This is the strangest work I’ve ever done, also the most lucrative by far. The good part is, I can train when I want to. Let’s hope it lasts.

A few months ago I was a starving student living off savings and going to college to get an ACSM trainer ticket - my intended third career was to be a personal trainer working with special populations. Before that I was a martial arts bum. Before that I was a software architect and engineer, and before that I was a computer scientist.

Although fighting fire is how the bills get paid, contract assasination is where my heart’s really at.
