My college that i attend is about 35 minutes away. It has a nice gym with a lot more equipment than my home gym. I am currently doing Chad Waterburys ABBHII workout and was I am stuck between two things i cant decide on.
Should i workout after school at the College gym and travel all the way home (35 min) w/o a PWO shake unless i stop by smoothei king next door,
Or should i Work out after school and just go home and get my shake? or
go home and workout at home?
What I’m asking is, is Smoothie King a good Place to get a PWO shake after a workout or should i just go home to where i have my usual shake?

My PWO shakes are much like yours so I know where you’re coming from, but all you really need to do is stave off the catabolic affects of lifting heavy for 35 minutes until you make it home for a proper PWO shake, so a scoop or two of whey in a shaker should get you there nicely. Solid, pre-digested protein sources like Metabolic Drive bars are a good alternative as well.

Just buy Surge. That way you don’t have to concoct your own PWO shake that will spoil. Also- how catabolic do you think you’ll really get in only 35 minutes? Seriously. I think the idea that the PWO window is that small is greatly exaggerated.
