What Would Jesus Do?

I would agree with this. As hard as it is for us to do, he would refuse to judge, he would seek to teach, and he would do so with compassion.

Do I think I could do that in such a situation? My bet would be no, but that’s just me.
Me either. My first thought was that I know this jackass didn’t do it on purpose, but what pissed me off to the next level (seeing as the guy was not injured aside from his pride) was that he didn’t apologize OR jump in to help me put the machine back in order. I guess he thought it was funny…at first. I threw all of the plates on the ground quick and hard, because I had to do that anyway and I was pissed at the ass hat, reracked the machine, put the weights back on and then sat back down and meditated until I didn’t want to hurt him anymore. He ran off after the first plate hit the ground as I was taking them off I am assuming because he noticed how much I did NOT find it funny. I didn’t see him again that night.

I have personally never understood sedentary people going to the gym, finding weight lifter who clearly spend some time doing it regularly and jumping in with some weight they’ve never tried just to say they can do it. This shit isn’t funny. It isn’t amusing to the rest of us…and no, if the last time you hit the gym was during the 90’s, you likely CAN’T do that much weight and can hurt yourself and waste time for the rest of us.
And that’s one of the things that sets Him (God, or whatever holy figure you choose follow) apart from us. The ability to understand every human being, to connect with and guide, and to do so with compassion and an absence of judgment.

I think a big key to that is an unbelievable level of patience. Any developed religious members, whether it be a Nun, Pastor, or Dali Llama, all seem to have obtained extreme levels of patience, which allow them the time to seek to understand each individual for who they are, and then tailor solutions to their problems/dilemmas/questions in a personalized fashion.

Obviously there is a story behind that individual, one the made him the way he is, and I bet any developed religious figure would take the time to unearth that and then deal with him accordingly.

The fact is, very few have the ability to do that, and I will admit that I am not yet apart of that group.

Jesus would laugh; that shit is funny.

Raptor Jesus would have slit the guys fucking belly open and ate his entrails.

He would of done the right thing obviously lol, but anyway imho he would of warned the guy prior to attempting such a weight and then helped him after his inevitable retarded decision to continue on his path of destruction. No one said the right thing is easy.
