Well, i’ve been working out for about 3 months know and i want to go on some protien and creatine. I’m not sure if you can take them together and i want to know what kinds i should use. I also want to know that if you take both at the same time can you cycle both the creatine and the protien.
The short answer is yes you can take them together, some people cycle creatine and some don’t, and I don’t know of any reason to cycle a protein supplement.
The long answer is that if you have to ask that question, it seems unlikely that you have a good understanding of why you’d want to use either of them in the first place. I’d suggest doing some more research on your own (look up John Berardi in the Authors section and read anything that looks interesting or just do a search on creatine and protein).
Be cautious about accepting advice from random people on the internet (says the random person on the internet) without doing some independent reading on your own. =)

I’m going to guess by your handle, that you are in fact, skinny. If your goal is to get bigger (should be), you’re in luck, cause it’s time to eat up!
I’d suggest to get yourself a quality protein powder to insure you’re getting the amount needed (1-1.5 grams per pound). You can’t do any better than Grow! and Low-Carb Grow! I’d stick with the added carbs in Grow! if you’re trying to bulk up.
Secondly, pre-post workout nutrition is a must! You’re going to want fast digesting carbs and protein. This is where the allmighty Surge comes in. Down half a serving of this before your workout, and another half afterwards and you’re golden. Or, if you’re really looking to bulk up, do what I’m doing now and take a full serving before, and another full serving afterwards.
If you have anymore questions on the whole postworkout stuff, do a search for an article called “Solving The Postworkout Puzzle,” by Dr. John Berardi. Also, read up on other nutrition articles by him; most importantly Massive Eating Vols. 1 and 2.
As to creatine, you don’t need any of the fancy brands you’ll see at GNC. Just find the cheapest one. Pure creatine - no carbs or other gadgets. Add 5 grams of that to your postworkout shake. I’d cycle the creatine to coinside with your bulking time (I find I look a little bloated when I take it while I’m cutting).

Ditto. Classic Grow! and any micronized creatine would be the place to start. You may consider Surge as well for post-training.
