I was planning to cycle Primo, but have now realized how expensive it will actually be (should have taken the word of all the vets from other posts).
Anyway, I am now considering Winny in its place. Is this the best substitute for Primo or am I way off base? Wanting to put on lean muscle gains that I will have a high potential for maintaining. I do not want to stack anything, just a singl chemical cycle.
Most vets are saying I should do a Test cycle for my first one. It looks as though maybe Test E would be the best choice if Winny alone for a cycle is a bad idea.
Though i understand the desire to run a compound such as primobolan, deca or winstrol independantly it must be realised that they all shut down the bodys own production of testosterone, not replace them.
Fair enough, a steroid will maintain and improve skeletal muscle (but not as effectively as with the presence of test)
but not maintain the bodily functions which are reliant on test, mainly your mood and your libido.
All round value for money cycle would be
weeks 1 - 12 test enanthate 500mg
arimidex .25mg eod
(test injected twice a week at 250mg)
Then you could use a stasis taper (reccomended) or a SERM based PCT.
Cycle should cost you no more than $120 round abouts.
Thanks guys, this is great info. I am going to read around and learn up on the test taper during the statis period and try to figure out what that is all about.
I will definitely do the Test E for my first cycle though.

I second this notion. Winstrol will shut you down and thus done alone you will have no or little testosterone or bioidenticle testosterone in your system. You end up with almost no estrogen and other metabolically related compounds such as DHEA and many others that are involved in 100s of normal processes in the male body. Over time you can develop some crappy side effects like sore joints, erectile dysfunction high BP and poor lipid profile. Testosterone circumvents most of that and dome with a little aromatase inhibitor like arimidex you can avoid the side effects of excess estrogen. It’s a low cost very expensive relatively safe cycle. be sure to get some nolvadex and or clomid for PCT and you are all set.
Well to answer the question of your post, it is not wise to start a cycle if you dont have enough money to pay for what you want/need! IMO. Alot of times, the other monetary factors get overlooked, such as the cost of suppliments, extra food, and any “contingency” drugs needed. Also bloodwork is pretty expensive.
Test is cheaper than Primo, however I tend to look at price from the perspective of the whole cycle cost, not just the particular AAS to be used.
