Hi guys, I’m 5,11” and 185lbs with 15.5” biceps. I feel small and what size arm should I have?
you should have legs, train legs !
Stop caring about your biceps if your whole body isn’t impressive yet.
19 inch arms. Twenty is really awesome, and like the Gold Standard. But nobody with 19" arms complains their arms are small.
Very loose rule of thumb is add 15 overall lean mass for every inch on the arms
Try this -gets overall lifts up + good bit of direct work
There’s no “should”. Set your own goals and get after them. Bodyfat has a lot to do with arm size.
This guy might have 25-inch arms:
And he might “only” have 15-inch arms:
But whose arms look better? Like most stuff in bodybuilding, simple size isn’t everything.
So get bigger. But, objectively speaking, 185 at your height isn’t “small”. You might lack muscle or be “skinny-fat”, but you’re not “small”. 145 would be small.
I have to agree with the badger.
If you get to 215 at 5’11" with 17.5" arms, you shouldn’t feel small. And your arms will be the right size.
(cough…cough) welll…
Yeah that’s true
Size 10 (Size 44 Europe)
That depends on so many factors. Like body fat percentage, bone structure and etc. I have seen so many guys bragging about their arms size when they are at like 25% bf. Proportions matter too.
If a guy has 15.5 inches lean biceps at 8% body fat with 6.5 inches wrists, he will look way more impressive than someone that has 19 inches biceps at 25% body fat with gigantic 7+ inches wrists. It is all about the illusion.
Yeah that’s my problem now. I have 22% bf I need to lose some weights because I don’t see lot of definition
Pretty sure this is a dumb question how you’ve phrased it but as far as proportionality, you should have the same size biceps and calves when it comes to circumference for a “balanced” physique.
