What is your current Food PR?

I hate all of you who can purchase meat cheaply in America.

Or even worse, people actually pay for you to eat pounds of it.

Christ, a restaurant burger in Japan is about $10 at the lowest end. That’s about 1/4lb of meat usually too.

Are you talking fast food or a dine-in restaurant?

Good question. Yea, you can go to burger king or whatever and get a cheap burger, but if you were to go to a sit-down type of place you’d probly be paying about ten bucks

I ate this when I was down in Atlanta over the weekend. The place is called the Vortex and was featured on Man vs. Food a while back.

I’m not sure how much the actual patty weighed–my guess is probably 2/3 of a pound.

Knocked it out in about half an hour with a side of tater tots. It was actually really fucking delicious.

It wasn’t hard at all actually. Next time I’m going to fight the triple![/quote]

After finding out about this I’m honestly in the process of planning a trip to Georgia just to go to The Vortex…

Dine-in. Dine-in meaning anything NOT fast food (pubs and whatever included…anything besides McD’s BK and the other brands they have here) But that $10 burger is like…meat lettuce and cheese. Anymore toppings then you’re getting into $12, $15+ burgers. Prices aside though, restaurants here can make some really good burgers.

On current yen, a big mac is about $3.75 and a DBL quarter pounder would be $6. No idea what current prices are in America since I haven’t gone back the two years I’ve been here…I don’t think fast food is much more expensive than American counter-parts though.

That sounds about right lol. Eating out will cost you no matter where you are.

two above-average sized double wrapped chipotle burritos, and a half gallon of chocolate milk in about a half hour. talk about a food baby

On top of all my regularly scheduled meals today, in light of recently starting a new job and with a phase of intermittent fasting starting on Monday, I decided to throwdown and indulge in some of the finer things in life.

#1) Almond Breeze (chocolate flavor) 946 mL

  • protein = 8g
  • carbs = 88g
  • fat = 12g
  • calories = 480

#2) Purely Decadent “Cookie Avalanche” Lactose Free Ice Cream

  • protein = 8g
  • carbs = 116g
  • fat = 36g
  • calories = 800

#3) 100% Natural & Organic Crunchy Peanut Butter

  • protein = 132g
  • carbs = 99
  • fat = 264g
  • calories = 3300

For a grand total of: 148 grams of protein, 303 grams of carbs, 312 grams of fat, and a calorie total of 4580.

I took this combination down over an hour and 15 minutes casually while watching The Office, Parks & Recreation, and Beavis and Butt Head.

Had a good one tonight:

10 Extra Hot wings w/blue cheese
about a pound of LOADED nachos
3lbs of pasta (crabmeat, fire roasted ham wrapped shrimp, parm, garlic butter/olive oil, all over lingune, Spell Check?)

Will eat again in an hour… weight classes are for weak people.

Still pround of destroying the Thurmanator.

If we’re talking in an entire day (with herbal assistance) I put down 3 of the little caesars pepperoni pizzas with generous amounts of ranch about half a serving of coldstone my girlfriend didn’t eat, 3 of those great white shark popsicles and a box of boo berry with about 3/4 of a gallon of whole milk. And an apple. Because a balanced diet is important. I’m not sure on the grand calorie count there is but I was proud and everyone else was disgusted.

That was the first time in my life I tried sitting in a full bath tub to relieve the going to die feeling of that amount of food. Which actually really helped.

It’s the shit man…the Hell Burger is another item on their menu…the description is great…

Lunch
14 rodeo burgers and 2 large fires + large hi-c sprite.
Dinner
2 12inch subs and 6 chocolate chip cookies + large sweet tea.

as for cal counts…i never count.

A typical meal plan for me on my deadlift and squat days lately has been as follows:

1 large omelette w/ bacon. ham. double turkey, and onion, reese’s puffs, and 2 glasses of whole milk for breakfast;

2 chick-fil-a sandwiches or a papa john’s mini pizza for lunch,

a PWO hamburger,

a large papa john’s meat lovers for dinner

2 protein bars before sleep

Hell yeah bulking

Two double meat chipotle burrito bowls with the tortilla with every topping in one sitting.

I finished off the Triple Coronary Bypass Burger at The Vortex in Midtown (Atlanta) last night.
Two 1/2lb sirloin patties, 3 grilled cheese sandwiches as buns, 10 slices of bacon, 8 slices of american cheese, 2 fried eggs, and a ton of cheese and mayo covered tots and fries.

I have eaten a lot quite a few times, a few years back I ate 120 chic fil a nuggets and like 10 sauces in under 30 minutes. Was absolutely miserable. 4000 calories is all though, sure I could do more with Mcdonalds or something. The 410grams of protein in 30 minutes was definitely a record though.

Some incredible food PR’s in here.

I have no idea about the calories, but I know it was Thanksgiving. I weighed myself in the morning, and then again at the end of the day. Managed to gain 11 pounds.

My record came from Plucker’s:
20 Buffalo Hot Wings
fries
an order of El Guapo dip (this is queso, sour cream, guacamole, chile, and jalapenos all mixed together)
6 stuffed jalapenos
huge order of fried mushrooms

That might be the heaviest meal I’ve ever seen. I like that despite the fact that everything is clealry smothered in mayo, they still gave you 2 extra mayo packets. How’d you feel after, or even during?
