I’m 5’10",183#. My 5rm of 185 just became my 8rm yesterday. But I’m curious about the delta between your 10rm and 1rm. I do 175 for 10 and only 215 for 1. That’s a delta of only 40#. Is that fairly typical?
Lipo, it’s not the delta between your 10rm and your 1rm in your bench press that counts. its the % of 175 of 215 which is 81% that matters. If you’re doing 175 for 10 reps with good clean form then you should be doing between 220-285 lbs. for your 1rm accodring to studies that say your 10rm should be (the lowest) 61% of your 1rm up to (the highest) 79% of your 1rm. It depends on your fiber makeup and how long you’ve been lifting for.
Good info. Thanks.
215lbs.-Thanks ANDROSOL–anyway,295lbs for 6reps (211 tempo)-315lbs for 4reps(211)–NO BOUNCE__NO JUICE
