What exactly are these ingredients?

Anabolicsteroids sells 2 T-boosters called Raw Pituitary and Raw Testicular (increases T 800%). The ingredients are bovine pituitary and raw bovine testicular. Are these exogeneous hormones? What exactly are these things and how do they work?

They are raw, desicated or freeze dried, cattle (bull) brain pituitary glands and bull testicles. Personally, I prefer my rocky mountain oysters cooked and served with a cold beverage. What’s the point of consuming bull nuts if you cann’t enjoy the delicate flavor and texture?

“Bovine” usually means anything associated with a cow or cattle. I’m assuming they are theorizing that by adding raw extract from testicles and the pituitary gland, that an increase in testosterone and growth hormone should be seen. Go to PubMed and do some searching for any research supporting this.

I believe bovine is a cow. So I guess it’s bull balls.

They don’t work!

I can’t beleive someone still sells that shit. That was around in the 70’s and it didn’t work then!

You ever get up to the testy fest in Clinton, MT? Huge party and lots of fried balls.

“Increases T 800%” Hoo boy. In other words, if I’ve got a normal T level of 500 ng/dl (ref 270 to 900 app.), these pills would put me at 4500. Yeah. Uh huh. And bodybuilders around the world have overlooked this supplement because, really, who wants to get THAT big, right? All that annoying size. Those chronic, pre-possessing erections… These are called “glandulars,” and for us forty-somethings, they were once all we had. The notion was, bull is big, eat bull gonads, get big like bull. It’s the kind of intuitive obviousness that makes a three card monty so irresistible. I don’t know enough chemistry to tell you just why this never worked, but I do recall reading that any beneficial hormone that might accidentally find its way into a glandular would be destroyed by the human digestive system.
