Glandulars?

I know old time bodybuilders like Vince Gironda swore by these, but they seem to have fallen off of the face of the planet. The only place I can find them now are within Vitol’s “Russian Bear” pack. These contain 1200mg of orchic gland (bull’s testicle).

What’s the deal? Basic, effective, but underappreciated staple (like liver tabs)? Or forgotten for good reason?

Yes, much like SMILAX, chewing bull’s testicles seemed to fall out of favor some time in the mid 90’s back when HottStuff was experiencing a drop in sales and MC Hammer found out that you CAN touch this.
