What everyone here thinks about marriage?

Eh, it only really makes sense if he was gay and his bf was doing NFN making him want to cheat (not getting any).

She is over 30 yrs old. Simple as that. It is all downhill from there.

Okey dokey.

You mentioned Socrates so I talked about him, we can also talk about Plato.

Contradiction. You love someone without a reason.

Edit: Now that I think about it, he didn’t actually write anything.

Could be arguable. Can’t know when you love and when you don’t.

Can you specify the difference?

No contradiction. You love someone without a reason. If the person present is no longer that person that was loved, then that person is not loved.

This is actually a pretty real experience. People love someone, and that person changes, and the person is still in love with who that person was, but not who they are. There tends to be a lot of heartache in those situations.

Now that I think about it, he didn’t actually write anything.

Ding ding ding

Can’t know when you love and when you don’t.

I’ve been able to tell.

In April 2027 (the 16th to be exact) we will have our 40th wedding anniversary. I think, personally, marriage was the best thing I have done. We raised five girls, all five are well educated, have husbands who (so far) have been more than I could have asked for. I know not everyone has that experience, but it has been great.

That’s wonderful. Sincere congratulations for building what you have.

You gotta keep an eye on them. Shady bastards.

I know things change. Yet, up to this point in time they have been good.

I love being married. I love my wife.
