1965 RHD bodyshell imported from South Africa (rust free).
Mechanicals from a mid-eighties 3.2 carrera (better brakes, gearbox, engine)
Crafted to look like a 2.7 carrera RS (one of the most iconic drivers cars of all time) but with modern touches.
She was my 30th birthday present to myself.
There’s a photo in my profile, but not on this computer to upload.

I checked out the car in your profile…fantastic, and while it still clearly has the 911 look it’s also obvious that it’s been customized. Let me be the first on this board to say I’m extremely jealous of you…amazing ride!
2000 Land Rover Discovery II with 75,000 miles. It spent its first three years in Los Angels, CA on lease. It spent the next 3 years in Wellesley, MA on lease. It looks like it just came out of the factory. I paid $8,500 and my 1993 740iL (with 200,000 miles) as a trade in. Buy used. Make someone else take the hit on depreciation.
I also ride a 2001 Harley FXDX. Bought that used too. But neither the first owner, nor me, got hit with much depreciation.

I have a 2004 Nissan Xterra: Flow Master, NISMO Cold air intake, Front+rear brushguards, all new sound system including 2 10in subs, and touch screen GPS installed.
I love my SUV, has 46,000 miles without a single problem ::knock on wood::
I;m looking to buy a new ford mustang but I’m not sure how well it will handle the midwestern snowy roads…
For you Subies out there my best friend and I have been working on his stage 4 WRX. It has new everything at this point and I must say the new suspension kicks ass.
One of my buddies just bought an Xterra…really nice ride.
As for the Mustang, I wouldn’t recommend it. One of my friends from college got one (we were in upstate NY during the schoolyear, so snow was pretty regular) and while he’s stubborn as shit he ended up selling the thing after a few accidents. Granted, he’s a dumbass and he also drives like one, but having been in the car with him when there was snow on the ground, I really don’t think it’s a good idea. Now, if you have the money to keep the Mustang covered during the winter while driving a second vehicle, that’s a different story.
haha I wish I had the money for both! I know the past mustangs sucked in the snow one of my friends had one but I was wondering about the new ones since they have the traction control and stability control. I got the chance to take out the new dodge challanger and I couldn’t get it to spin out in the dirt with the traction control turned on. Haha turn it off and you’ll be doing donuts without trying!
Matt, did you do this work yourself? If so well done! I’ve always been very impressed and jealous of people who customize cars, probably because I couldn’t tell a clutch from a crankshaft when it comes to cars.
I do work on my cars, and have for years. However, I usually rely on a buddy of mine that is a tech for big stuff or items I want done quickly AND correctly.
I understand most of the technical / mechanical side of cars. However, having the right tools is the majority of the battle. Since I don’t, going to someone with a lift and tons of tools is a great option.
Had to get that out of my system. I have a ‘76 Chevy Nova in need of a paint job back home in Cali that I’m fixin’ to sell. Don’t have a license because A) I’m a loser and B) I’m lazy. Need to get my vehicle situation worked out soon though.
Toyota Corolla, the most trusted car in the world. My car 14 years old and has been around since 1993, yet it still runs like brand new. I hardly maintain it because it doesn’t need much maintenance, and I could go on a full tank for 2 weeks of 1 hour city driving per day.
Nice looking Forester…Let me guess…20G turbo…larger tmic…injectors…turbo back and a tune?
Pretty close. Actually a much longer list than just that.
Running an '07 STi VF43 and STi TMIC. Big additions beyond that are fuel pump, 816cc injectors, AccessPORT and ProTune for E85 fuel (and of course headers, uppipe, TBE, suspension, etc, etc, etc).
I do eventually plan on going with a 20G (funny you should say that) as well as an FMIC (and a couple other supporting mods). Then eventually I may do an FP Red and a Cobb crate motor sometime down the road.
Basically, I plan on having it a while. And I have a lot of ideas for it in the future.
07 Toyota Tundra 4x4. The one pictured isn’t mine but same other then color. Mine is black with chrome dual exhaust, blk side bars, tinted windows. JBL six cd system that sounds damn good.

Any other details on yours?
What did you put down on the protune?
Mine…stock turbo…debating on upgrading to an '06 wagon or drop a evo3 16g in mine.
I drive a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited color purple with gold rims. I call it my purple pimpmobile. Fully loaded roof, leather, heated seats ac, and cd player 5k
I was debating a WRX wagon w/ STi swap, a modded FXT, or waiting to see what '08 was gonna offer. After I saw the '08’s, I knew I didn’t want to wait for them. Too many WRX’s running around here, too. So the FXT was the choice.
Put down 243whp (~308chp) and 295wtq during my ProTune. The torque is where it’s at! E85 is pretty impressive fuel.
