Why is everyone bumping ancient threads this week? What the f? Is there a full moon?[/quote]
Noticed that too. Prof X is now a mod, maybe he’s doing it. Anyone who responds incurs his wrath!
I like P90X. It is geared more toward people who want to be lean and in decent shape, nothing wrong with that. I’m pretty old and my joints ache when I go heavy so P90x is a pretty decent program for someone like me. Do a month of it and then a month of lifting. Its a nice combo.
Didn’t even realize this thread had been bumped and was old. By is my face red!!
I think anything remotely physical is better than nothing for the average couch potato. I just don’t like their whole “muscle confusion” shtick. By the creators logic you should be able to indefinitely “confuse” your muscles into unlimited growth.
It isn’t a bodybuilding program. It seems like many on here have not yet grasped that concept. It is a program to get you in better shape than you are, and make you feel better physically and emotionally. It provides results and does the workouts in a motivational, progressive way. I actually find it appalling how many people on this site, in general, are incredibly de-motivational to so many. You should be happy that someone else wants to improve their overall health. Maybe later they will decide to switch over to bodybuilding, or maybe not, but that’s fine too. Not everyone has to be a bodybuilder, health should be promoted first.

LOL!
its just a conditioning program with a shit ton of variety and tony horton holds your hand through it.
i made my own p90x, calisthenics circuits and running hills. that will be 100$ please.
Im not going to say anything new just that I know 2 guys thats done it. One guy actually saw some improvement and he did look abit more cut so I guess thats good? The other guy was pissed off because he didnt see any results but then I asked him if he did everything to the T on the workout and he said “Not Exactly” Some people just have no discipline and I guess some people aren’t meant for lifting weights.
Fun to tryout now and again but wont help you get to any specific goals except not being fat.
