What Do I Need to Improve On?

Sorry about bringing up a moot point, but this kind of argument always bugs me. I don’t doubt that there is a correlation between how much an individual can shrug and how much they can deadlift, but by no means does this allow you to assume that doing shrugs will lead to better deadlift. Obviously someone who deadlifts 600 lbs is probably going to be able to shrug more than someone who deadlifts 200 lbs because their overall strength is probably much higher. Hell, I bet there is a fairly strong correlation between how much someone can bench press and how much they can curl. To the OP, nice job, you are already look big for your size so you are definitely on the right track. need legs to rate though.

no distinction? of course the pectoralis is one muscle but you realize you can emphasize developing particular areas of it aren’t you? you’ve heard of incline/decline movements haven’t you?? ahh youth

oh everyone shut the fuck up. The pectorilis major is one muscle period. It’s not as if the incline bench completely isolates the “upper pecs” as the “middle pecs” and even the “lower pecs” are used a bit as well. By the way, i cannot believe how fucking moronic you fucking sound. Do you know what it means to develop a muscle??? Obviously not.

oh you’re right…i apparently have no idea what it means to develop a muscle. thanks for showing me the light! wow so all the books i’ve ever read by all the greatest bodybuilders were all wrong?? wow! i’m going to write letters to arnold, franco an all the other mr. o’s telling them that all those incline/decline movements they’ve been doing for decades have been a complete waste of time! ah dont waste your time, hes already left this thread with his foot in his mouth

he went and made another thread with no legs either…

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I’m sorry but i cannot help but say how friggin stupid that sounds. UPPER PECS??? The upper pecs are the fucking pectorilis major. And so are the “mid” pecs. There’s no distinction.

There is no such thing as sculpting, shaping, or toning. You can either make a muscle bigger by stimulating it, or make it smaller by sitting on your ass. MUSCULAR DEVELOPMENT is a rather ambiguous term, because muscle development is a combination of making a muscle bigger while stripping bodyfat so the muscle shows up well. It’s not as if an incline bench develops the upper pecs more than a regular bench, both work the same muscle. If someone were to just skiP the incline and do flat dumbell presses but also rocked a bodyfat of 4%, I GUARENTEE YOU HIS MUSCLES WOULD LOOK VERY MUCH DEVELOPED. KUDOS

idiot

Thanks to you guys who gave me unbiased reviews. i know what i need to work on by looking in mirrors, but its always nice to get second opinions. And why do some of you bitch-asses have to be so childish anyway?

Why whould anyone post here if people just bitch and complain and talk shit about people, like myselfthat are just lifting because they like it… Not everyone wants or has the desire to look like ronnie coleman or do steroids we just enjoy lifting.

So thanks again for the help and positive critisizm, for those that gave it. And to those that just have no life or have egos that are bigger than the houses they live in, please dont post anymore. Or find someone who wants to here you bitch like a little baby.

And yea I didnt lie about one thing i said. Height, BW, vertical leap even though people hate cuz they cant do it they think it cant be done haha lil bitches. so far from my experience this site is half decent-good people and half bitchass egotistical bitches either way the half that seems to be degrading seem to be very troubled as far as emotionial health. Any other comments appreiated unless they are retarded and childish!!!

Of course. Look at his avatar. He’s tiny and has no definition whatsoever.

And Prof X is clearly the smallest person I’ve EVER seen.

And without your pants…

I know I know…I’ll grow up

Looking good and would have to agree on one point made badly.

Chest is still chest - too many people get caught up in 5 different exercises for their chest so they can have a bigger, fuller chest and neglect deadlifts, squats etc

If a guy can bench 300lbs its quite likely he is going to have a pretty big chest everywhere - upper, middle and lower. Yes use variattions in your chest exercise selection but if you are not getting stronger then its unlikely the problem is upper chest deveolpment

Actually, that brings up a fairly important question… which has probably been answered.

What type of training does the OP do? Splits? Full Body?

It may be just me but you look bigger than 152 lbs. I think you have a really good physique and there’s quite a bit I could learn from you. If it were me I’d want a little more size but what are you going for as far as physique exactly? If you want to compete then yes I’d say you’d have to put on 100lbs or so. Do you have any leg pics? The only complaint I have is that your picture looks like a myspace shot but I can’t talk much because my avatar was taken in the kitchen. Ha HA

Let’s get this thread back on track and help dneal25 instead of bickering at each other.

dneal25 - nice base, you have good definition. What exactly are your goals? Whatever they may be, keep eating clean, lift heavy and hard, and you’ll reach your goals. As others have said, your chest needs some work, so be sure to hit it hard.

Nice start, keep it up!

thanks, i agree. yea thigns got sidetracked a little, but overall i got some good responses. and that ll i can ask for. basically i just want to gain more muscle and not fat. and compete in a powerlifting meet here and there, for my own enjoyment.[/quote]

Whoops, I guess I should read the whole forum first. My fault

Interesting hand position…
