WELL my deadlift shoes are the Sabo deadlift shoes. They are amazing and easily added 10lbs to my sumo stance like the first time I used them.

I also highly recommend the metal powerlift shoe for squats for people who are hamstring dominant squatters.

Both of them are in European sizing so get that all figured out before you order :smiley:

welp, yesterday and today’s workout both made me really upset
yesterday I was upset with form, today I was upset with depth for my 180 set
But I woulda been upset if I hadn’t tried it at all, or if I had only made it to 6 reps

Trying to fix my sumo form left me almost in tears because I literally could not pick up 155lbs :confused:

I fought myself tooth and nail not to just pack it in and go home without finishing half my shit, but I ended up staying for 3 hours to get my shit done

I had to spend a good 45 minutes before all that just sumo-ing wrong and not being able to pick shit up and attempting not to cry :weary:

Yesterday, like all my ā€œbad daysā€ was a real eye opener for me.
I can’t even begin to tell you how much my heart broke not being able to properly do sumo deadlifts and feeling so weak. Like because I am so in love with powerlifting I am also super sensitive and feel really, really down when I feel like I failed at something.

So N E WAy I was super worked up all day and had a really bad sleep and just stated telling myself like, you can’t let yourself get so upset about workouts anymore. It seems like I have more bad lifting days than good, well, mentally bad anyway. A few off reps and I’m miserable for a week. 4 out of 7 days im super irritable because something didn’t go perfectly according to plan, gah.

Gotta get back to being my friend
