What are Some Sick Ska Bands?

I haven’t heard many fresh new sounds lately, I am just discovering older bands and if anyone knows of any more recent bands or ska songs post them up!

just an example

I’m a big fan of this band… have been for awhile. Wisecracker: Wisecräcker | Listen and Stream Free Music, Albums, New Releases, Photos, Videos

A German ska band. I don’t like too much ska. Granted I haven’t listened to that much of it but I have heard bands like Mustard Plug, AAA, Op Ivy, etc.

Less Than Jake and Mad Caddies are good

Reel Big Fish and Streetlight Manifesto are the two most popular ones as far as I know.

Suicidal Tendencies and the Suicde Machines

voodoo glow skulls, skatellites, The Specials, Bad Manners

went through a ska stent back in the day

I’d like to second Mad Caddies. A lot of their stuff isn’t pure ska or even necessarily ska at all, but they’ve got some good tunes.

“No Hope”

“Falling Down”

“Last Breath”

Falling Down and Last Breath are probably my two favourite Caddies songs. Check 'em out!

Save Ferris, Reel Big Fish, Catch 22, Lagwagon, Me first and the gimme gimmes and my favorite The Suburban Legends!

Not a new band, but Fishbone are sick: www.fishbone.net

Suicide Machines is a fave. Also The Specials-Monkey man…cause it has monkeys

Definitely Fishbone.

Madness…One Step Beyoooooonnnnnddddddd and Night boat to Cairo are two songs from Madness that come to mind when I think of Ska.

Buck-O-Nine was my favorite, but a big second for Reel Big Fish and Less than Jake.

Yeah, they are amazing! I saw them play in Montreal in 2002, they were sick, plus my friend and I got to smoke a joint with them backstage after the show. Good times!
