What are some good tips for dropping weight and fat?

Im finnaly taking my fitness joirmey seriously and i think the biggest struggle for me is what im putting in my body. Im about 285 6’3" and pretty fat. Im looking to se what kind of diet yall would recomend to loose weight and what things to look out for and some general tips and tricks to not loose motivation.

Don’t eat hyperprocessed food. That means, if it comes in a box, don’t eat it. Stick to single ingredient foods. If you make this one change, you will most likely see huge results without needing to count, weigh or track anything. After a few months of doing this, you can evaluate from there.

@T3hPwnisher gave you the biggest one. I’ll add a couple easy buttons:

  • Walk every day
  • Find something to do during your “trigger” times (usually evening)
  • Don’t get full
  • Don’t stress about daily fluctuations
  • Have the quality foods mentioned above ready and available before you get hungry

Is this just so im staying active because im a manger at my local chilis and i dont stop walking for about 9 hours a day

or is this more to train myself to take the step to get in the gym and work on my motivation?

I like Mark Twights version of this: if it wasn’t food 100 years ago, it still isn’t. Don’t eat it.

It’s just because walking is good, nothing more. I don’t really think you can do too much of it, and it’s shocking how much it helps with fat loss, recovery, CV health, and mood.
