Westside/Upper Back Question

Its my understanding that WestSide barbell training incorparates lat training on bench days, and the following day has a sq/dl session.

Am I correct about this training?

I do follow a westside program, but never deadlifted heavily. Im just worried that my upper back will fatigue quickly training it 4x a week.

You shouldnt be pulling heavy on your squat/deadlift days.

His deadlift is massively weak compared to his squat. He’ll be fine pulling as one of his ME movements.

The first couple of time you do it, it is kind of hard, but you get used to it after a couple of training sessions. I started training using the conjugate style a little over a month ago, and my back has gotten much larger.

I do rows and shrugs on my DE day and rows and rear delts on my ME day for reference.
