Total body Lower ME/ Upper RE Sept 4th 07
Notes. Well labor day so figured Id go labor. Shoulder on right arm a bit sore and low back odd not hurt just odd. Knew today was going to be a fight for PR�??s and feel things out play it smart
Super sets
1A) SSB Box Squat (14 inch box ) old 1RM 440 x 1
Bar x some
155 x 8
245 x 8
335 x 3
385 x 2
435 x 1 plan was to go for a 3 RM for this didn�??t have reps in me today
445 x 1 5 lb PR take that and RUN!!!
315 x 15 hands on rack
Anything over 1 felt like a ton so went for that 5 lb pr off the box and was happy it was hard.
I really do NOT look forward to this day the SSB of the box SUCK. I am convinced its helping though my regular squat is going up, DL and such I also am convinced my squat sucks do to upper back my low back is damn strong in relation and this bar just fold me over half way up. any advice here would be MUCH appreciated

Right side much weaker still and some discomfort keep an eye on it

2A) DL timed set??
315 x 5
405 x 3
500 x 7
One more then a month ago in the fatigued state after Squatting took that PR and ran again grip was about to give as it was these were near stiff legged but good
2B) Dips
BW + 50 x 8,10, 9
2D) Abs Decline weighted 3 sets
Good day for the way thing felt took the PR�??s I could and got the heck out. My new stone should be ready to pull out by Wednesday.
I dont have any cool squat rack curl stories I walked to the gym and they were friggin closed had to walk ALLLLLLLL the way back across the street and get my key LOL. sucked not having a lift off though prob good I stopped and did the light DB work

He didn’t see me doing the floor press, so I can only imagine that would have been what he would’ve said to his ‘girl’ (who probably weighed as much, if not more, than he did). The chest puffing and stares came when he saw me grab the 90 #er for the rows.
He gave me this smirk and look like “he’s probably going to struggle like crazy to lift that”. Once he saw me rep it for 15 easy ones was when I thought we were going to have the curl contest. Gotta hit the beach muscles when you’re at the beach, you know.

Man, this is weird because I almost the very same incident at Lifetime about a month or two ago. Two teenagers were doing pull-ups (well actually one would simulate a pull-up and the other guy would push him up) and I heard them say “He’s only moving the bar a few inches, so he’s cheating. I can do that weight, too, if I lifted like that”.
I had just started the lift so I only had 315 on the bar on my up to 475. Like you I let it slide. I added on 50# and I heard them giggle again (sound like girls), and say basically the same thing. That time, I got a little pissed and jumped up after my set and said to the one shit-talker if you think you can do it, go right ahead. I got a big smile on my face when he said yes. We’re about the same height so I didn’t have to adjust anything.
His buddy was trying to get him psyched up for the lift and he laid back on the bench, put his hands on the bar, got his game face on and pressed. I decided to talk a little shit and said “Any day now”. Bar didn’t budge an inch. He tried again, this time with his friend ‘spotting’ him (read: pulling up on the bar for his dear life). The bar moved maybe an inch then came crashing back down on the pins. When he got up it looked like his body’s entire blood supply was in his face. He didn’t look too good. I didn’t have to say anything, nor did I want to, they just packed up and left the gym never to be seen again.

You need to start putting these entries in chapters. you have a huge capacity for work. I couldn’t imagine doing a total body workout like that.
If you ever get the chance I would like to see a vid of you deadlifting.

LOL thanks I think I really have taken to the full body ME’s they leave me fucked for days after and damn near feeling like Ill drop it to one damn day of work LOL but they are working as well. I cant argue with the PR’s
Yhea I think this camera I borrowed can take vids I need to get one of the DLing and hell the squats as well maybe in a few weeks when I pull heavy again. It really is a LOT of low back I feel but feels right as well
it can be great and suck at the same time like today no lift off but cant bitch on those days either I throw in whatever CD I want and have at it.

Yeah reading your full body ME day takes me longer than my training days do I think. That gym situation you has seems like the ultimate, a commercial gym with a cool owner that lets you keep and do all the strongman stuff their, AWESOME!
